100% correct. I've heard the this young man say a few things that if the refs heard it he more than likely would have been flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct if not ejected from the game.

I was on the sidelines for the Trinity game and I will tell you that some of the stuff that came out of the Trinity players mouths should land them in the confessional. The NFL and others have made trash talking a national pastime. Should it be part of the game ? NO but the kids are only a reflection of what they learn from their parents and see on TV. My wife told me after the game, that the Trinity fans (parents) are very colorful in what they say during a game. In reference to Travis Elliott, he is no better or worse than any of the others. He is a competitor in the highest degree and works endlessly to improve his skills. He never takes a play off, whether it is in practice or games. He did run a 4.59 at the UC camp last summer. Thats why they are after him.

Yes, and I don't think Elliott was ejected so History must have that wrong.

I think he is def a WKU/EKU type player. He did well at the OSU camp, he could have some Cincinnati/Illinois/Maybe a Tennessee who is rebuilding with all they can type upside if he continues to get better.

Clyde is correct in that he has already picked up a D-1 offer from WKU so I'd say yes he will be and I've also been told he was laser timed in the 4.5's at UK's camp.

Gotcha ... I was reading it that there were two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, which is an automatic ejection. Is getting a personal foul penalty an indictment of a football player? I guess if you get them repeatedly and it looks like "dirty" play. But if it is being overly aggressive, well...obviously you need to get it under control but I am not going to have a big problem with a player being aggressive.

I don't have a strong opinion of the kid one way or the other, but I will say this - his conduct in the two games against Highlands this year was much, much improved from what it was last year. I had a pretty good view for both games this season, and he was all business as far as I could see.
