Where are your current seats at HT?

1st of many to come. I for one am giving up my season seats as I have had about all I can handle with this organization.

I agree. They might only be on TV 1 time at home next year.

Since this game is blacked out and no game will be on CBS @ 1 who do we get on Fox?

Game would be available on places like Sopcast and Stream Torrent, maybe. Not sure why anyone would want to watch this.

I have blacked them out at my house since week 3..

Love it..........:thumb::thumb:

Packers @ Vikings.

Can someone refresh me on the blackout rule?

Have to sell all premium seats by Thursday or ask for a 24 hour extension if you get close.

The fun thing is determining what is "premium". Anyhoo, obviously the Bengals are nowhere near close to a sell out to not even ask for an extension.

Well, some people -- like my brother and one of my best friends -- are masochists.

homeless-camel summed it up in that you must sell a certain allotment of tickets before they will broadcast the game locally. The idea is to force fans to purchase the tickets instead of being enticed to stay home and not purchase tickets. It has caused some flack of late with the "economic times" - though I do not think that is reason enough to lift the rule.

I wonder if by lifting the blackout rule, the NFL could leverage more TV revenue. The proposal to the networks could site higher viewership in each market if there are no blackouts. I would imagine NFL ratings in the blacked out areas are down in comparison to when there is no blackout. Just a thought.

Makes sense. The downside, if you want to call it that, is the NFL is so darn popular it still thrives via television whether a local game is blacked out or not. Fantasy football.
