The only teams that will challenge Beechwood will be Hazard and Mayfield.

You have seen both and would like to hear why you pick Beechwood. I know why I would pick them. Just would like an opinion of someone who has had up close encounters.

Beechwood can throw and run well. While I thought Frankfort has more all around speed, I think that Beechwood is more techincally sound and disciplined. They have no wasted steps in their pursuit defensively and offensively on the line. Not impossible for Frankfort but I think Beechwood has to have a off night or key injury. That said I loved Frankfort's Stadium and the gentlemen grilling next to the visitor sideline. People were friendly, and players, I was told were friendly too. Good luck to you Coach and Frankfort.

are you talking those smaller bleachers like at baseball fields? will we be able to see over our team?

You should be fine. Bleachers are elevated on the visitors side; not a ton of seats, but you will be able to see over the bench and players.

Thanks for the response. Will not disagree with you assessment.

Glad you enjoyed you visit. Those guys tailgating next to the stands are like the bleachers. Been there forever.

Not sure of the view. Maybe someone from Brossart or Walton could advise.

Wow, I guess only district champions are allowed to post on here. I hope this does turn out to be a good football game. Based on recent history it won't. What is Frankfort's all time record vs. Beechwood?

there are more games than this. At least 2 I can remember 1976 at Frankfort. 1977 at Beechwood

While I have met some really nice people at Frankfort there are a few on the visitor sideline that aren't very nice when they are losing!

I think Bw wins by several scores

That was before the game. I was lucky enough not to see the people your talking about.

Frankfort has a nice team but I think Beechwood will just be too much for them...

I would have never commented about the stands, but someone asked so I'll comment. In my opinion, Frankfort is not a very nice place to watch a high school football game (especially the visitors side). There are way to few stands and they are not high enough to really see over the players. Along the fence line, more towards the end zones, wouldn't be bad, but a lot of Frankfort people were standing there - really no room for Brossart folks. Also the constant cars driving up and down that little driveway behind the stands - that's dangerous for the little kids running around playing. The hardest thing to take was that the main bleachers (Frankfort's side) was more than half empty. Why we weren't 'permitted' to sit on that side is beyond me? However, having said all of that, since Brossart has no home field, or practice field for that matter - we would gladly trade Frankfort in a heart-beat.
