Colts 23 Bengals 17

Featured Replies

Palmer had a few bad throws today no doubt. Please tell me it's not a different game if Chad finishes his long route and TO doesn't get terrified of a safety though.

The challenge was awful. I'm so tired of teams scoring at the end of the half when the Bengals have the ball, although at least the Bengals scored this time. Good effort today 81. The O-line was outstanding today except the last 45 seconds. 85 lines up wrong?

^^^Doyel and Marvin Lewis......

Lewis giggled at me. Told me, "You need a new line of questioning."

Me: "You mean, easier questions?"

Lewis: "Or someone smarter than me to answer them."

Not a bad idea, now that he mentions it. Someone, please show that quote to Mike Brown. But first, tell the Bengals' joke of an owner that the world isn't laughing with him.

We're laughing at him.

And I don't see Cowher coming. He'll have better jobs available to him.

Regardless of what you think of TO, Marvin's response to this question is typical Marvin! I can just see him answering this question this way, and giggling like he does and not getting ticked off, he is over his head, and he is right, they do need someone smarter than him!

And I also think Doyel is an idiot, but the response to his question is aweful!

No question about it, he doesn't want to be here and we don't want him here anymore.

Why would he want to stay here when the biggest clown is not his WR but his OWNER.

As I've been saying for the last 2 years - fire everyone and start over.

Might as well switch teams because you can't fire the problem.

Terry Bradshaw's "Fired Up" commentary about Jerry Jones could be edited, put in Mike Brown's name, and it is what the Bengals need to do.

Bradshaw told Jones to FIRE yourself as GM, hire a good GM and get out of his way. Let him pick the talent and THE HEAD COACH. Let the HEAD COACH coach the talent the GM picks out. The way it is done in those cities that are successful year in and year out.

I think we all know this will never happen. I really don't know how Mike Brown can look at himself in the mirror after destroying everything his dad had built here.

I didn't see that but I did see on ESPN they were talking about owners that don't have GM's. They mentioned that it could work decades ago, but it no longer works. Jones and Brown were talked about often.

Did anyone catch SOAS last night?

I missed it.... what all was missed, some of the callers drive me nuts or sound drunk. A lot of Carson/Marvin bashing?

Not much to say about this. Every week the Bengals suck at one of the three phases of football. Last week was special teams, this week was the offense again, and probably next week it will be the defense's turn against Buffalo.

As for Mal. I seen a comment in the update thread where you said, how is it the receivers fault when they catch the ball whenever Palmer puts it remotely close to them. Really? You ask us if we have watched the games, but have you? Have you not seen how they decide to short arm any catches if they are about to get hit usually? Or what about not running hard throughout the route, or sometimes just not even run the route they are suppose to. Yet clearly you choose not to see that. I admit Palmer has made some bad passes this year, and even if Chad ran the wrong route on the first one. That is still Palmer's fault because he was trying to throw off his back foot, just like the second interception. That is something you just don't do as a QB, and I admit he has to make better decisions than that. Sometimes it is ok to just throw the ball away.

I almost feel sorry for Marvin. It's got to be hard to even try to coach these guys. When 2/3 of the team is saying "I'm done" and "I quit" as they enter the lockerroom after the games, it's got to be frustrating to try to motivate these guys.
