November 14, 201015 yr Wow is all I can say about Chad and TO on that last drive. So many problems on this team where do you start?
November 14, 201015 yr Author Rip Carson all you want he deserves it but man he must hate his life throwing to those 2 clowns. You never know if they will even be trying when you let the ball go. Palmer threw a perfect deep ball to TO down the sidelines and he gives up on it because the safety was coming over at him. Literally let if fall right to the side of him.
November 14, 201015 yr I try to refrain from phrases like "they deserved to lose". But, the Bengals deserved to lose. What an embarrassment at the end of the game. Will this be Lewis' last year in Cinci???
November 14, 201015 yr Even the announcers said he may have lost it in the sun! I said that when I seen it too, that stadium is odd with all that glass in the endzone and you could see the sun all of a sudden hit his face and uniform, very well could have just lost it in the sun. Your first comments were about 81 and 85, when they were 90+ yards away from their endzone, with seconds remaining, after all of the bad football they played up until that point of time, and you expect them to not be frustrated? 5 turnovers they were lucky Indy didn't play that well today or this game wouldn't have been close.

November 14, 201015 yr Author LOL, you must be one who never wanted TO here in the first place? Even the announcers said he may have lost it in the sun! No I wanted TO here but there is no excuse for not trying. He didn't lose it in the Sun. VERY CLEARLY he looked away at the guy coming over at him. They showed the replay and it was very obviously. They quit trying before the Sack. I'm sure a lot of people on that team are frustrated does that mean they shouldn't try anymore? Heck next time at work I get frustrated I'm just going to pack it in for the day and do nothing.
November 14, 201015 yr He is gone, this is his last year on his contract ( I think I heard from announcers today). Boomer just called Mike Nugent, Ted Nugent and Jermaine Gresham, Jerome. HAHA
November 14, 201015 yr It's a total disaster, I wonder how much faith and all the players even have anymore, in themselves and with the coaching? I am surprised players and coaches are not blowing up on each other at this point, if it did happen I wouldn't blame the players.
November 14, 201015 yr As I said lat week, teams often take on the identity of their QB and that is who the Bengals are. They are Carson Palmer. Moments of greatness along with huge mistakes. Inconsistency. Carson constantly looks ike he is in pain as he struggles to lead the team. I almost never see enthusiasm from him. He makes a great pass for a TD and you might get an arm thrust in the air and a high five. There is no fire that will drive a team. He is too unemotional to be a leader on the field. As to TO, he came to the field today knowing he was not the focus of the game plan and he took the day off. Chad - when he goes over the middle for passes, he is a world beater. When he plays the sideline passes all day, he doesn't get the ball and gets frustrated. He needs to make going over the middle a part of his game every week. The defense played their best game of the year. Zimmer watched Manning pick the blitz apart on that first drive so he shelved it the rest of the day. The D line was able to get enough pressure rushing 4 and even 3 so Zimmer sat in coverage and ate Manning up today. That is a blueprint on how to stop the Colts offense. Finally, if Marvin does nothing about the effort on that last drive from TO and Chad, then I fire him. He will officially have lost control of the team if he does nothing this week. Lack of effort can never be tolerated on any level.

November 14, 201015 yr I'm seriously about this, is Marvin too nice of a guy? This team needs a Forrest Greg type coach! I am tired of seeing Marvin in his low keyed interviews making excuses, instead of getting ticked off. Well, the good thing maybe we won't have to watch upcoming home games on TV.
November 14, 201015 yr Author I'm all for Zimmer taking over. If you want Brat to be the OC still then yeah.
November 14, 201015 yr Author Throw the Bank, all personnel decisions, Stock options, Mansions whatever he wants at Bill Cowher.
November 14, 201015 yr Throw the Bank, all personnel decisions, Stock options, Mansions whatever he wants at Bill Cowher. He wouldn't coach in Cincinnati if you gave him ownership of the franchise along with the head coaching job.
