HC D pitched a shut out the second half in the 1st meeting, but it was fumble by HC at SK's 18 yard line late in the game that sealed the deal for SK.

:lol: No, a special play by one of the coaches on the HC staff. He was an assistant at GRC for 25 years. Named the play after his wife. We taught school together at GRC.

The key to this game is turnovers SK forces turnovers and they didn't even turn the ball over against Tates Creek. SK will when this game lets just hope Ryle gets lucky against the Camels again so we get a rematch!

I hope SK wins to see one of the more "hyped" rematches if it takes place (and if Ryle wins, which I strongly believe will), but I think that the speed of HC will be too much. I believe it will be a close game and HC may barely get this one.

Henry Clays defense is horrible compared to SK's defense. Conner scored 20 points on Henry Clay. SK's starters shut Conner out. Conner was able to score 6 points on SK's second string!

I am suprised by how large the poll shows in favor of HC in this one. I think this game is all about the turnover the team that causes the most will sneak out with a victory. I hope that team is SK because I think we all want to see that rematch

Not me. I tire of rematches. With only 32 teams in a class. One game per two teams is enough for me.

I expect SK to win at this point. HC was nearly exposed by Conner, who is not very good this year.

SK fans seen him last year, he was very fast...If it's anything like last year and the first game this year against SK, HC runs the same play everytime...But with their speed it's still very hard to stop...The games a draw it could go either way...SK holds the advantage of knocking off HC already this year, HC holds the advantage of having their best player back...HC has been scoring in bunches, but they have also been giving up points in bunches, 52 to Tates Creek I believe versus Tates Creeks 13 against SK...Bottom Line both teams can score, HC probably scores a little more however SK has the better defense...

 

One thing that isn't mentioned is that two of Tates Creeks touchdowns were on kickoff returns. Also both teams were kicking onside every time to prevent big returns. It's a lot easier to put up 52 when your only going 50 yards.

 

I think this is going to be a great game, but Henry Clay will win. HC can light up the score board. As for the defense, they cause turnovers. All it takes is a "bend without breaking" style of play and Henry Clay will win. HC has ball hawking DB's that make plays. The key is to stop the run.
