Exactly what I was wondering. Especially if they had a kicker that could try a 47 yard field goal at the end.[/QUOTE]

We don't really have a kicker. The field goal attempt was by our QB, Dini. It was right there....just short.

Who do they play?

2005 (I think) against Boone at Boone.

Campbell County plays Ryle at Ryle.

Wow! Sounds like one heck of a game. These are the kinda games you love to see in the playoffs. Congrates to Campbell Co. and congrats to GRC on a great season.

Congratualations Campbell County, good luck next week.

A game to remember! Come on Camels! It was Ryle 35 to CCHS 30 in regular season play. So let's be the Cinderella/Underdog team of the 2010 playoff season and win!

Recap of the game from the Winchester Sun:

The Camels scored on their first two possessions and led 14-0 on a pair of big plays. Nate Geiman crossed the goal line with a 43-run with 6:01 remaining in the first quarter. The guests struck again on their second series when Kremer scored on a 1-yard run for a 14-0 advantage.

Kremer threw for 84 yards in the opening half, while Corey Cox hauled in five passes for 44 yards. Kremer threw for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Cardinals responded on the ensuing series when Dini scored on a 1-yard run, set up by his own 32-yard pass to Darius Skinner. However, Clark had two turnovers in the final eight minutes of the opening half, one of which was an interception by Dini, his first and only miscue of the season.

Skinner went down with an apparent knee injury with 4:46 left in the first half, but played sparingly for the remainder of the contest.

Great game Camels! NKY 6A not as weak as everyone is making them out to be. BTW, is Kremer getting any D1 offers? He's a heck of an athlete! Looking forward to Barn Burner part 2 next week in Union!

Good job Camels knockout Ryle!

You should be rooting for Ryle shouldn't you? Then your Pioneers could redeem themselves, right?

I am so proud of this team and the coaching staff ! Stay focused and get in the zone next week. Remember to win big games you need to KNOW you can win and play fearless. GO CAMELS !!!

Sounds like another great game between two fine teams.

NKY 6A wins 3 out 4...I'll take it.

Big game against Ryle next week against the Raiders.

CC tried to give this game away to a determined GRC team that nearly pulled the the magic carpet from under the Camels. Pokey Harris is a world class sprinter. When he returned the punt for a TD and the lead, the kid looked like a bolt of lightning. He's got to be one of the fastest kids in the state.

However, the experience and patience of QB Michael Kremer leading the Camels for a final 85 yard drive was amazing. The Camel receivers on the final drive showed great composure (Cox #11 , Hodge #28, Smith #83, etc). The O Line for 2 weeks in a row gave Kremer excellent protection and time to throw. Great job!

Corey Rogers #81 for GRC had a monster game. This kid catches anything thrown his way and is a load to tackle! Are any schools looking at him?

Congrats to both teams, GRC's Coach Columbia, and the Camel's Coach Styer on two of the greatest high school games that I have ever witnessed.

GO CAMELS.....you can beat the Raiders!!
