Should be some good matchups. I am interested in seeing how PC handles the big Oak Hills squad. The Dixie/Walton game will be a good one with some nice young talent in Hatton/Mcneil going at it on the perimeter. CovCath vs the David Henley led North Oldham squad and then the Birds and the Pioneers in the nightcap.

On Saturday Nov. 20 the Kelsey Sorrell Memorial Pre-Season Basketball Scrimmage Panorama will take place at Simon Kenton High School. This event is in honor of the memory of Kelsey Sorrell, the daughter of CovCath freshman basketball coach Steve Sorrell. Kelsey was tragically killed in an automobile accident on January 2, 2008.

 

 

To keep Kelsey's spirit alive in our community, Steve established a committee to raise money and assist deserving children everywhere with educational and medical expenses. In the last three years, over $25,000 has been awarded.

 

 

This year, each person attending will be asked to name their favorite team. The team receiving the most votes will win a catered "Buffalo Wing Party" from Dickmann's Sports Cafe. We ask you to get the word out to your family and friends to come out and for a good cause.

For SK I would say Chambers and Gray.

Yep, Gray will have to carry the load until Chambers comes back.

Highlands its Jack Stewart and Connor Crowley, they will likely lead the Birds in scoring.

The CovCath / North Oldham game will be very competetive. I know North Oldham has some nice talent and with Henley being there and knowing the Colonels I expect it to be a great matchup.

How very cool that we get the chance to see Henley with his new team so soon.

Henley's team will actually be pretty good this year at North Oldham.

 

They will be led by 6'7 260 lb jr Devon Rowan. Not sure of his number but I've heard nothing but great things about him. Averaged 16 and 11 last year as a soph.
