Highlands/Scott County JV Updates

Featured Replies

Did you say Jr. playing JV, most teams do not play Jr. on the JV team do they.

At most schools this is the norm. But at Highlands with the numbers of athletes when would you like them to play. Heck, there are bigger schools than Highlands that dont even dress Soph on Varisty and very few if any Jrs play Varsity. So, with that said, yes Highlands plays Jrs on JV, have been for as long as I can remember.

BTW, I also heard that it wasnt the dads that got the situation under control it was a Mother of a player that put the final hammer on them after they verbally abused her son. And no Henry doesnt have anymore sons playing at Highlands so it wasnt her. LOL. Go Birds 20n10

We actually had an offensive line mom and a defensive line mom that teamed up down there along with 2 dads. Great job, moms!

After the game, one of the Dads from Scott County came up to us and stated he thought it was really great that we brought so many fans. He congratulated us on the win and made some very nice comments about several of our players. I think he felt bad about the way a few of Scott County's parents behaved. Also, there was one HHS Mom that felt her son was getting verbally abused and walked down to the sideline with 2 fathers to check it out. It really had no factor on the game! It was a beautiful day for football and HHS came out Victorious. Go Birds

Is this for real....

This actually sounds like something that happens in a peewee game on a Sunday afternoon. Bad things happen from these situations!!!!

Very bad!!!

Now that's what I like to hear.....:thumb:

How do people get onto the field during a football game? Are you kidding me? This is the dumbest thing I have heard. Are there no gates, fences or security? Surely, the KHSAA has rules on this.

The antics of some parents/coaches or whoever it was doesn't surprise me one bit from Scott Cty. In '06 the JV from HHS played on a practice field down there and the PA was calling formations and direction of plays over the speakers. Now that was crazy. Oh well, whatever it takes I guess.

They just got it "live" from the sidelines...changing up their delivery tactics....

Each school has a few idiots don't put everyone in that group please. Just a few can make everyone look bad.

Is Scott Co's JV QB Quin Richardson?

Very true.
