I can tell you that if this was a varsity game that the score would not be the same. I'm not saying that Boyle County would win nor am saying that Highlands would win but things would be much different.

Tough Loss for the Freshman, but a good lesson. I enjoyed meeting everyone also! Highlands group were a great group of people, next year when we meet tailgate at my tent. I will save you guys some seats! Best of luck next Week Guys! Always fun to put a face with a name!

I agree and also agree with the other poster that said freshman championship teams don't always equate to varsity success. A lot of variables could come in to play between now and 2013.

 

No denying though that this freshman class is very deep with talent, athleticism, and size for their age level.

 

As I said in the previous post....should be a lot of fun to watch this group grow and progress over the next few years.

Look, Boyle County loses alot of talent after this year. They lose arguably the best linebacking crew in the state. An All-American. Etc. I'm not saying that Boyle County is on the way down but alot of work will have to be done in the offseason. Wait, isn't it still 2010 with a whole lot of season to go? I'll worry about this season for now.

Not exactly true my friend. CovCath will give the Birds all they want. So with that said, I am thinking Boyle will either see the Birds or the Blueboys each and every yr for some yrs to come, both programs will be very, very good as I have been assured the Boyle teams will be stout. Go Birds 20n10

I would much rather have played Highlands this year or last year as I have no idea what to expect from next year's Rebels but I'll take a game with Highlands anytime.

 

I am glad this game was able to be played regardless of the outcome. It is always enjoyable to watch Highlands play. Good luck the rest of the year at all levels.

Boyle is a classy program and I'm glad the Birds will be playing them in the near future..

It was really good to see old friends and meet some new. Really glad Highlands is playing Boyle again and looking forward to traveling down to Boyle next year. LILREBEL, I'll take you up on the seats as long as they are on the Highlands side.:lol:
