Maybe they should play better. Palmer deserved it

I agree, with all that offense Bengals should average 30+ a game easy.

Probably even worse than Palmer's play today was the Bengals' plan for a backup QB going into this season. Baby bro' Jordan would not be on any other roster in the NFL outside of the Bengals.

Haven't you heard? There are not any decent backups. The Bengals are fine.

No excuses here, they all just suck! The owner sucks, the coaching sucks, Palmer sucks, the receivers suck, the line sucks, and the defense does not suck but they aren't doing as well as last year either. They are a bad football team right now, so I will not make any excuses for them.

(For some reason two weeks from now I will find myself optimistic about them again though.)

Wonder what Futurecoach's comment will be?

Check out post 35 they all just suck. No excuses.

Can someone explain why we were throwing when we were up 21-14 with 2 min to go anyways?

While Carson threw the inceptions, there is plenty of blame to pass around. 4 false start penalities killed drives. TO drops a sure first down to kill a drive. Then TO gets an offensive interference penalty that puts them in a 2nd and 20 position. Chad has the pass hit him in the hands. A player of his vocal stature has to make that catch. There were plenty that lost this game.

PLAYOFFS!! You're talking about PLAYOFFS!!!!!!!

That would have been better if you would have posted the Mora video.

Way to see it for what it is.:thumb:

Marvin took the blame for that in the press conference. Said he wanted to go win the game.

Gotta hurt getting boo'd at home...
Bucs have it happen to them all of the time. They were booing last week, but the Steeler fans kept drowning them out. :D

I would love to be able to find the thread when I said months and months ago how terrible Carson was and how many people disagreed with me. He is, without question, in the bottom 10 (maybe 5) quarterbacks in the NFL. It's hard to watch him suck so freakin' bad.

So which of the penalties and 4 false starts that killed drives were his fault?

Which of the balls that hit TO, Chad or Caldwell in the hands and wer dropped were his fault?

Even Billick pointed out that Chad runs whatever routes he wants and him and Palmer are off sync on them.

Definitely he has to improve his play but there are plenty that are not living up to their mouth and self-hype.

^ Nice excuses. I was waiting for them. Maybe the balls that were intercepted were thrown into traffic late in a game where he shouldn't be forcing balls. If you think any of this is on the receiver's you're blind. When there's a minute left, what makes you think it's a good idea to throw into double coverage? Please don't make excuses for one of the worst quarterbacks in the national football league. I'm honestly sick of them.
