Where are you Knight52? Band contest early in the morning?

In the prediction thread, K52 explained that his roomie had hijacked his computer and was the one who had posted all the "smack" talk.:D Actually, now that we know the truth, I must tip my hat to the roomie for his success in messing with everyone so successfully.

This is about what I expected. Lex Cath is playing alot of young players right now. The future looks bright for LC.

I do believe that things could have been worse. Boyle County got off to a fast start as French had hoped for and never looked back. The defense smoothered Lexington Catholic all night long. Unfortunately, Lexington Catholic will be very good over the next few years.

Good job Boyle. One step closer to the showdown we are all waiting for in the 4A with Bell.

Still a long way from that happening.

God I knew the game was going to be like this. Thats why I was furious to find my "smack talk" on the prediction forum. Lol no worries Labman I would have doe the same if it was the other way around. But catholic talent is just too young and Boyle laid it to them tonight. I hate seeing Catholic but hopefully a good butt-woopin will wake these guys up.

Great game for Boyle! Always good to start district play with a big win over a close rivial.:jump:

Boyle DOMINATED all areas of the game. They controlled both sides of the line, plus their run game set up the pass game perfectly. Boyle has a very good defense that was always around the ball and never let Catholics passing game get off the ground. You could tell Boyle was by far the better team. The only problem I had, Boyle held a 35-3 lead late in the 4th, with complete control of the game, and they still had their 1st team offense on the field and didn't sub until after another score. That tells me that Boyles coach was trying to run up the score. I hate seeing this from a from a very good and well coached team.

Why is that an issue?

I wasn't at the game but I doubt seriously they were running up the score. They haven't had much competition lately and Coach French was probably just trying to get all the work he could for the starters. When they played Danville, they could have probably scored again at the end of the game, but they took a knee. Another thing, most Coaches won't pull their starters until the other team pulls their's. Did LC pull their starters after Boyle was in control? I have a problem with teams that are way behind and don't pull their starters, only to let them try to get points against the other team's young guys.

WOW... another week another person not happy. Guess Catholic subbed and still beat Lexington Christian the previous game 62-0?

This is what happened and how the Knights got their only TD in the game.
