October 9, 201016 yr No you are wrong. The stats don't lie. You're just not man enough to admit it. Go cry now like you said you were going to.
October 9, 201016 yr Author That one hurt. Simply not the Reds we watched all year. And Crash has had his Reds fan license revoked. Going to a football game instead is inexcuseable. I'll give GT a pass because he probably had to work.
October 9, 201016 yr Author A couple of you sound like posters who are close to a time out. Knock it off.
October 9, 201016 yr Well, I said before Oswalt sucked. I was right. I also said Hamels sucked. I hope to be right on that one too. I just had no idea that we'd suck right along with them.
October 9, 201016 yr Well, that sucked. I think Cincy will win Sunday. If they somehow beat Halladay then I love their chances facing Oswalt again in game 5. Not likely to happen though. I picked the Phillies in 4, but tonight's game was the one I thought we would win. I don't see us winning Sunday, but it would be great to play two at home.

October 9, 201016 yr I'll give GT a pass because he probably had to work. I had the game on my laptop while I was calling the football game if that helps... :idunno:
October 9, 201016 yr I'm afraid Cueto will buckle under the pressure as well. Maybe, but I don't see us doing much against the left-handed Hamels.
October 9, 201016 yr I'm afraid Cueto will buckle under the pressure as well. Only if he starts kicking.
October 9, 201016 yr No, other team has ever made a worse first impression in a playoff. No hitted first game and commit 4 errors in the 2nd. The 4 errors have only happened in a post season game, 3 times and each time it was the Reds who did it. 1919, 1938 (I think) and 2010.
October 9, 201016 yr What I hate most about this is that Bronson came out and pitched like an ace tonight--the ace everyone (including myself) says we lack. He pitched shutout baseball. Also hate it for Chapman, who got jobbed by a bogus HBP call & the same errors Arroyo endured. Pitching & hitting were good enough, not just for a win, but a convincing one. The gloves were simply atrocious.
October 9, 201016 yr It seemed the Reds got confidence when one of their leaders, Phillips, hit the home run and then the played like it as another, Arroyo, dominated. But when the two leaders, Rolen and Phillips, committed the error and Arroyo couldn't get them out of trouble, all their confidence was gone and they played scared from that point on.
