October 12, 201015 yr Shocking. I can't imagine the revenue lost to the inevitable ratings loss will be less than his salary savings. Not shocking at all if you know their history of moves like this. At least his contract forced their hand and he didn't get the yearly Christmas week dismissal...
October 12, 201015 yr The only show in town, but it sure is a crappy show to watch. Not true at all. B105, Q102 and Rewind 94.9 are all flourishing thanks to all of the idiotic moves made at the Death Star. They do own the #1 spot with WLW but everything else is fading fast.....
October 13, 201015 yr I was a fan of the show when BOTH were on. When one was on vacation I didn't listen. No chance I listen now with Parks on there. I can't imagine what CC was thinking on this one unless ol' Eddie just did something that left them no choice. I agree Clyde. He is terrible and one of the guys making decisions. Guess we will hear more of "marbles in the mouth" Sensible Don, and the Bulldog scream and rant about nothing witty or wise.

Seems like half the stations in town are owned by CC and the other half owned by another company, name escapes me.?

Q is a Bonneville station along with the other two I mentioned. Cumulus is the other company you are thinking of and they are run as a mirror image of CC...

They let the Two Angry Guys go a few years ago, and then filled their slow w/ the worst collection of morning hosts that they could find. They then get rid of Doyle just as I was liking his show w/ Mo. Now this. The lesson here is to not be a successful radio personality in Cincinnati. If you are successful, make sure that you request less money the following year.
