No problem! You can venture over here at anytime. You can join in with the what most say is the toughest district in class 1A. It's tough when your used to being the best. And things all around you fall apart except for the powerhouse of Beechwood in that district. I know it's tough letting go. So sometimes you just have to lash out at somebody. So here we are. Bring it on if you have to. I/we have nothing but the highest respect for all of the teams in the Covington area. But if you need the therapy. Have at it!

Eagle5, the players and coaches and the parents that I am aware of do not feel this way. I am thinking that this may have been a ploy from oldrambler to fire up people on BGP's. And from looking at the thread, it has only drawn the ire of a NKY poster. Good luck with Paris this week and we can't wait to see you guys next week in Raceland. Make sure and get your Ramburger when you arrive......Ram is buying for all the LCA posters on BGP's that attend the game. :thumb:

This has been an interesting thread to say the least. I have respect for both teams, I hope it is a good clean game. Just the way a rivalry should be.

Doc you are exactly right on all points made, especially the bolded. Yes, I was just having some fun. One day I thought (and me thinking is dangerous:eek:) about the former Nicholas County coach Ben Pumphrey and his ploys with the Ashland newspaper sports reporters when they would interview him for a pre game write up on the Raceland/Nicholas Co. game. He would put stuff like this in our paper. I guess to anger the Raceland faithful on his ridiculous statements while in reality most of us thought it was hilarious. Pumphrey's NC teams at that time were actually pretty good, he was an excellent coach and a all around good guy,. Ben Pumphrey saw the lighter side of things as well and had fun with it. Raceland fans for the most part (mostly bc of those articles) grew to really like him and we pulled for him except for our game.

Imagine that, :ohbrother:a high school coach knowing that you could also lighten things up and have some fun with it and still put a very good team on the field .....Who Knew???? :idunno::lol: Seems to me that some fans (from everywhere) could learn a lesson from coach Pumphrey, I know that I could bc not as often now but I can still get too upseet and mad over some things said.

So, if I offended anyone from the Raceland coaches,players,fans and/or bgp posters in any way I apologize. Same apology goes for any Fairview coaches,players or fans.

 

I hopethart this is good, clean hard fought football game. May both teams remain injury free and...................

As for the bottom one.....I wondered what happened to all of those very annoying horns. The guy in the pic looked a little round, must have been Ram.
