LCA players absent from the game: Starting linebackers Chad Hall and Sam Maybriar and their backups Evan Grant and Saun Hoke. Starting defensive lineman Josh West. Starting cornerback Adam Hilton and other starteing cornerback Hunter Rowe went down half-way through the game. Team Captain and Starting outside linebacker Max Barjuca. Also Michael McFadden was injured. LCA did the best with what they had and with many people filling in positions they had never played anymore.

Interesting line up of threads tonight involving Mayfield. Mayfield did to Fulton Co. tonight what several other very good teams in the state would've done to them too. Nothing more, nothing less. After Crittenden County getting blown away tonight, it appears Class A district 1 may be weaker than it typically is.

Fulton County was a joke. Dont read too much into that score. I will say this, if Mayfield doesnt win the state title most Mayfield fans will say this team under achieved. Winning 75-6 might get our LIT ratings up. I saw where Beechwood was rated #1 last week in 1A

With all of this Mayfield talk, I may finally get that coveted 100th post I've been looking for. :lol:

Mayfield has been unchallenged all year with the exception of one game against a storied rival.

They are pummeling their opponents.

They run .. they pass ... heck .. their leading rushing is the 2nd string guy! (Which tells you something).

Mayfield fans have always said that Beechwood would have been a figment of their imagination if they were in class A in the 90's .... now they are on a mission to prove it.
