Is it possible to not make a team of that caliber?

Back to the thread. I think this will be the best team Cooper plays all year.

You mean a team that is ranked #10 in NKY in it's 3rd year? Good luck to both teams this Friday!

Cooper is making good strides in the right direction. Still will not beat a 6A team this year. No disrespect to the Cooper team, still having playing to many sopohmores on varsity. Good luck the rest of the season.

 

I am not exactly sure where some people have comde up with this opinion this year? My guess is people who think this, must have have paid much attention to Cooper this year, and still think since their only in their 3rd year they are not ready yet. However if you look at how they have played, its very easy seeing them winning a district game this year, and IMO at least 2. They played right with Holmes who is one of the top teams in 4A, and hung tough with Johnson Central. While someone like Conner just got beat down pretty good by a 2A team in Holy Cross. So after seeing all this, I don't know how someone can still say they won't win a district game this year. I think their is a good chance they will win a couple this year.

I can see Cooper getting a district win this season although I think its highly unlikely. I don't believe Conner is that good this season. I believe there record is a bit misleading each year. I think Cooper will get beat down by Ryle but hopefully they can get a good game out've it. As for Cooper against Boone and Sk, i think it will be closer than the past two years but I don't see it happening. Cooper is better than Campbell and played very good against them last year so we will see how that plays out for them.

Ryle wins without any problem by one over Cooper.

Elliott has 250+ yds in this game with 3 or more TDs. Ryle wins by a longshot 47-3.

Ryle 49 Cooper 20.

Ryle by 14. Their QB is a play maker.
