Anyways those are not my rings and not my hand either, but it is funny how you try to make fun of me for that. I don't think you need a ring on your finger to voice your opinion, but you do need a ring to consider yourself as a year in year out contender. It's also funny that you bring up basketball because I never mentioned basketball once, nor did I proclaim Highlands as a state contender in basketball. When people are wrong they try not to lose the debate by trying to change the subject. Basketball wasnt the subject, football was and still is. Then you go on to make fun of me for posting on a website about high school football, and you did it on a site about high school football. Therefore you made fun of me for something that you just did.

Unless there is somehow SK will get lucky and have another great player they will stay mediocre. They really havent shown anything to become a stable consistent contender. And yes to be considered a consistent contender you need to win sometime. Maybe even come close sometime and the opinion will be legit. SK's state championship bid was a 48-0 thrashing to 1 of the 2 schools I was talking about. It doesnt look like anytime soon any team but Trinity or St. X will be actual contenders.

 

Go be proud of your program and make irrational opinions, that is your right, but I am not going to be a believer until SK actually does it.

The measure of a real man is would you say what you say if we were all required to identify ourselves. I would have no problem identifying myself nor would the vast majority of posters for most teams.

Ryle's running game will not beat SK! SK has yet to let a player run over 100 yards on them!

I never went to Highlands or Campbell County High school you might be thinking of my dad but he only went to Highlands so your wrong again.

They now have a D1 or D2 QB and a group of D2 or D3 Wide outs to go along with a solid RB and a mediocre line like most high school teams. On defense they have some of the best LB's in the state and solid pass rushers and speedy safety's. In addition I guess I shouldn't expect people outside of SK to recognize how talented their underclassmen are and the future looks bright. Now we will see but a few years ago pre Miles Simpson they had no possible D1 athlete at QB and no college WRs at any level and no college linebackers or safeties. I would say they are building slowly and my belief is in five years they will be ready to give the powerhouses of KY a ballgame.

There are so many kids that go out for the d3 schools, it is hard to say how good they are until they actually get to campus and get on the field.
