Are we ready for a little BGP wager? If Ryle beats SK, you stand down from BGP for a week, if SK wins, I'll step down for a week?

Is this Ryle team better than last year's Ryle team? If so, how much better? They did not fair so well in Louisville last year.

I think there down they lost all there stud receivers and some good D-linemen.

I think Ryle has turned the corner this year, but I also think they have a few more blocks to go before they can challange St. X or Trinity. I still think 6A is a 2 horse race night in night out, but if Trinity or St X. have multiple turnovers I can see Ballard or Ryle pulling the upset with a great game. Good luck Ryle I am pulling for you.

They are a much better team than last year. They return 8 starters on the O and 6 starters on the D. But at this point in the season and from what I have seen IMHO. They could not beat X or T or Ballard. No disrespect.

I would love to see 6A evolve into a greater mystery year in and year out. I don't care if X & T are in the top group every year; I just want to see more teams capable of contending with them. I think Ballard is there - at least this year; the X-Ballard game didn't have multiple X turnovers and Ballard was a missed 2 point conversion from winning, instead losing by just one point.

Way to early to talk like that. I don't see them beating X, Trinity, or Ballard. To one dimensional on offense. Trinity scedule is insane and they are young and undefeated. There offense is very complex and there still learning. Wait till playoff time, don't think anyone really poses a threat this year. X might beat them during the season because of the rivalry but I doubt it.

 

T offense is not nearly as complex as it appears. They do a ton of window dressing. Now they pay attention to a ton of the little details and their coaches are very good teachers but the scheme in and of itself is not complex.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this in prior posts but the Raider youth football league is under way in Union. This is the first year of the league and should be a boost in the arm that the Ryle Raiders needed to develop young football players. Yes, they definitely have a shot to compete with T and X this season...but with the new, young Raiders already aboard their ship they should continue to push forward!

Makes no sense why everyone including myself replies to anything Uk#1fan says. He obviously has zero knowledge of the game and is just trying to get everyone fired up. We all know Ryle will crush Sk. Sk had there Great year last year and thats all they will ever have for another 25 years. Sk will be lucky to finish 2nd in the district this year.
