Boone has a chance if they can keep Towles off the field by controlling the LOS and TOP. The defense is playing much better this year, but the coaches can't rely on the defense to score the points. The offense has to get something going early or this will be another night of 3 and outs with a 98% run game that has problems crossing over the 50 yard line.

Boone is improved, especially on d, but no match at all for Highlands.

Highlands might want to thrown on some horseshoes for this one, Boone's field is like a horse racetrack. This might slow the speed down a bit, which would favor Boone enough to at least make it a competitive game.

Funny you mention it. My son came home last night and told me how dusty it looked on film in the Anderson game. Maybe we'll see a lot of 3 yards and a cloud of dust!

Hopefully Boones offense can get something going so the defense isn't on the field the whole game. Highlands is a very good football team though and they have a great Qb. I'm hoping Boone can turn some heads in this one.

Highlands puts em' in the box and forces Boone to throw (which is not their comfort zone) and rolls in this one. If Boone can't avoid the 3 and outs, their D gets tired and the Birds roll big time. 56-0.

If Boone waters the field, it won't be the first time. They watered it some years ago against Trinity. Didn't work.

Was a joke my friend. I believe all of the grass fields in Boone Co. are a mess. They get freshman, JV and Varsity football games, then throw in girls and boys soccer. The fields take a beating. I say start a school facility tax on the builders who are over building in Boone Co. This fund could easily fund turf fields for Boone, Cooper and Conner.
