Wow! Your embassed because UK didn't win with enough conviction? If the game was 10 minutes longer?

Yes, they played not to lose in the 2nd half instead of playing to win. It seemed like they just wanted to get out of the game alive and I think that gave U of L alot of confidence. What SEC team could UK have beaten today playing like that in the 2nd half? Vandy? I'd have doubts that kind of stuff would have worked against Ole Miss as bad as they played. I'm not impressed with a 7 point win over U of L, you can take that how ever you want.

I agree with parts of this. Trevathan was HORRIBLE in coverage thought. 83 was open everytime he was covered by him. Also, you missed the most important offensive player of the game IMO. Moncell Allen played wonderfully. He had some amazing blocks on every important offensive play (minues the Cobb run maybe).

I had meant to put him on there, thanks for pointing him out. Allen looked like a mini John Connor out there. What does UK feed their Fullbacks? He is mean and nasty and every thing you'd want in a fullback.

Why show everything you have in a game you have control of? Joker gets knocked for his ability to go conservative ultra-quick (see Tennessee last year), but the games that determine what bowl game UK plays in are coming up. The good card player keeps his hand close to his chest.

I have no problems with their game plan. When the game got close toward the end, he started mashing the gas a little.

Who was the last consistent kicker at UK? Doug Pelfrey?

That's fine but why are YOU embarrassed?

Embarrassed was as strong word. I just think UK should have put the game away when they had a chance to.

The 4th and 17 roughting the passer that let Louisvile get it to one possesion is the one that got me riled up.

The extra point just makes you want to puke.

I know he was awful early in his career but I don't think Seiber was that bad the last two. Certainly not the best in the country, but not terrible.

Honestly, I don't know how anyone could possibly get a good read on either team from watching them play each other. That was a darned ugly game.

I agree. Both of these teams have a long way to go.

As for the stadium, I wasn't super impressed. I would have hated to be there the year of the lightning delay. It was awful trying to get out of there.

He def got better each year, and last year he wasn't that bad at all. I couldn't stand to watch him hit the field in his first couple of years though.

"Not terrible?" Not exactly a ringing endorsement.

11/19 his Jr yr.

11/16 last year, and 8 out of 10 inside 40 yards. I could live with that.

Not the outcome I wanted for my Cards. But I am excited about what the future holds. I seen several good things that can be corrected on both sides of the football for UofL. Wide-outs have to catch the football, Froman delivered the ball on the spot all day. Just to many drops. Defensively had a couple of sacks but the defense lost containment. I think once UofL settled down they played well.

Always sweet to beat UL, especially this game with all of the hype about a new coach, new stadium, CATS can't win 4 in a row etc. Wasn't it great seeing Coach Cal roaming the sidelines and tossing a football around? With the ROCKS win last night, just a perfect weekend!!!!!

Substitute Tigers for Rocks and I am with you. A couple of flags kept the game closer than it should have been. Big edge in talent for the Cats was apparent. A great start for Joker.
