August 30, 201016 yr http://www.wkyt.com/news/headlines/101801938.html?ref=938 WOW! The sad part is Richie may carry that scum to Frankfort.
August 30, 201016 yr I almost always vote Democratic - not always, but almost. There will be absolutely no doubt this time around.
August 30, 201016 yr Richie's not qualified. He's never been a community organizer. Oh well, I'll vote for him anyway.
August 30, 201016 yr Richie's not qualified. He's never been a community organizer. Oh well, I'll vote for him anyway. Do you have any idea what a community organizer does, or do you just spit it out because you have heard others do so?
August 30, 201016 yr Do you have any idea what a community organizer does, or do you just spit it out because you have heard others do so? Sounds like you think that you are an expert on the subject. Please tell me. A bit touchy aren't you?
August 30, 201016 yr Sounds like you think that you are an expert on the subject. Please tell me. A bit touchy aren't you? Not touchy in the least, it just amazes me that a thread about the Farmer and Williams ticket still manages to bash the President. I'll take it from your answer that you don't know.
August 30, 201016 yr Not touchy in the least, it just amazes me that a thread about the Farmer and Williams ticket still manages to bash the President. I'll take it from your answer that you don't know. A big problem that many people have with Farmer is his lack of experience. The parallel was drawn to the POTUS because many view him in the same way yet he was elected. I do not think it is out of bounds simply because this thread does not involve the President. Experience means less and less with our elected officials.

People that dismiss Mr. Farmer based on lack of experience are going to be in for a surprise. Experience doesn't have the same clout as it once did. The POTUS proved that. He is as qualified to be a Lt. Gov as Obama was qualified to be POTUS.
August 30, 201016 yr 3 proven malfeasants and 1 whom we've yet to give the chance. I'll vote for the ticket with the guy whom has yet to prove unfitness. By the way, I called this about 3 months ago, and will pour myself a brandy tonight for being right. Its lonely at the top up here all by myself. Lost in all the "He's-only-here-because-he-was-a-UK-basketball-star" backlash is the fact that as Ag Comm'r, Richie has actually done a very fine job. You may say its only because his workers did stuff for him, well fine. He a least had the werewithal to surround himself with good people. But maybe, just maybe, Richie actually knows and plays the game pretty well, which is more than I can say for any of the other yahoos.
August 30, 201016 yr Not a huge Williams fan and I don't know nor have I seen one statement on what Richie Farmer believes. They will win, I have no doubt about that. The current governor will keep talking about casino's and get waxed at the polls. Sad part is not sure either is good for Kentucky. If I knew what Richie Farmer stood for I might be more inclined to change my opinion. But I'm far too fearful no one will ask him tough questions because all they care about is he played at UK.

I know you're serious about your politics, and I also know that some of your writings are a bit tongue in cheek. Here's to the bolded.
August 31, 201016 yr There's no bigger piece of political garbage in this state (and that's saying a LOT) than David Williams. I'd vote for a bowel movement for governor before I'd vote for him.
August 31, 201016 yr This is great. Richie may just have committed political suicide. Williams is the most hated man in the state. I understand why Williams wants Richie. I don't understand why Richie wants Williams. I think Richie can win the top seat instead of being second fiddle. It will be my honor to vote for anyone besides David Williams.
August 31, 201016 yr I would not vote for Abramson if someone was holding a gun on me. Go Richie!!!!!!!!!!!!
