August 24, 201016 yr Author Sandoval is crushing the ball. The 1st base coach touched Sandoval. What's the rule on coaches making contact with players? What did he do? You can't touch a player in order to aide them in running or trying to stop them from running.
August 24, 201016 yr What did he do? You can't touch a player in order to aide them in running or trying to stop them from running. It was when Janish dropped the drive. The runner on 1st (Uribe?) dove back into 1st. 1st base coach was pointing & yelling for him to go to 2nd. Sandoval ran through the base & hit his outstretched arm.
August 24, 201016 yr Author I just finished reading last week's thread. Starr is...an interesting character. Whoever kept calling him Les was killing me. So you weren't around last week? Maybe you're to blame for the start this week. :sssh:
August 24, 201016 yr I think it was actually Guillen that dove back to the base...and there was no missed call on that play. Sandoval just ran through & bumped his arm. I was hoping any contact was an out.
August 24, 201016 yr So you weren't around last week? Maybe you're to blame for the start this week. :sssh: I was around last week but don't post much on the weekends, especially when the games run from 10:15 past midnight.
August 24, 201016 yr Hard to see the right field wall in SF and not think of Barroid Bonds. LF reminds me much more of Bonds, but Bonds hit some absolute blasts over that RF wall.
August 24, 201016 yr LF reminds me much more of Bonds, but Bonds hit some absolute blasts over that RF wall. McCovey cove with all the kayaks and what not. Hard not to think of Bonds.
August 24, 201016 yr What happened to Nix? Why was he taken out of the game? He camp up limping on Votto's double. Was taken out after he scored on the triple.
