I'm not a big fan of switching the entire outfield depending on the pitcher.

McCarver has blamed the 3 runs Carpenters has given up to the Cubs (so far) on Cueto about 10 times during today's broadcast.

He's a hack. If he is right though I can live w/ Cueto getting skipped for a start if Carpenter loses a few games.

Still talking about what Cueto did after MLB dished out the punishment. If he didn't mention Cueto then I wouldn't have a problem with it. It's over, he needs to move on and stop talking about it to the media.

I am sure the reporters didn't ask either. The media will not let it die.

Yeh no doubt lol! I here ya!

So it is okay that the pitcher kicked players with steel spikes if it makes the other pitcher lose games? That is classy.

I am sure the reporters didn't ask either. The media will not let it die.

Of coarse they did, its their job to get him to keep talking about it. His answer, "It's over. I've moved on, so should you". But he hasn't moved on, and I'm sure he'll have a comment about Cueto tonight after the game if he gets the loss.

I agree with you. I feel like with baseball, the best thing for a player is consistancy. Oh well, hopefully they'll pick up another win tonight.

I will agree with that. He should stop talking about it but the media will not let it die.

Let them ask...

The reporters asked BP about if after the fight and he simply talked about the game. Carpenter has the ability to let it die and won't.

BP should have never made the comments but he realized his mistake and hasn't talked about it since. The same can't be said about Chris.

If he would stop talking about it, they would stop asking about it.

Simple as that.

I said I agreed with that in the above post. Carp needs to stop talking about it.

Ironic, isn't it, that a lot of the Reds fans on here are acting just like they accuse the Cardinals and their fans of acting?

Exactly. As long as he is willing to keep talking about it, they will keep asking...

Do you really think BP would say anything when he was the one that basically got it all started? He had already said enough and knew better.
