I'm beginning to really like Ondrusek. His last 15 appearances since June 16th look like this. IP 16 H 4 BB 3 K 11 Runs 0 ERA 0.00

He was flat dealing tonight and saved Voltron's tail...

What were you all worried about. I knew we had it the whole way. :scared:

For about 14 hours, anyway.

If it wasn't for Masset and CoCo then I wouldn't be worried about the bullpen at all.

Massett has a .77 ERA in July. He's been dealing.

Cordero is 10 for his last 11 save opportunities. He has a 2.41 ERA over that time. He's doing a lot better now than a month and a half ago.

Terrible idea...

How? Im curious to hear your reasoning.

Not really sure that needs to be explained, but if you insist.....

Going into last nights game Stubbs was 0 for his last 23. His OBP is right around .300 and has K'd almost 1/3 of his AB's

Not exactly what you want at the top of the order for a team trying to contend. Gotta have someone on base for Votto and Rolen...Stubbs isn't that guy.

I just said they were the only ones that worry me at all. It used to be basically all the bullpen except for Rhodes that worried me. Ondrusek and Bray are two of my favorites out of the pen and even Smith has proven to be reliable.

I didn't state anything about the numbers. I was simply just stating I am a little worried/nervous when Cordero is in the game to close. Especially with one run leads.

It could be a lot worse.

Obviously it is all mental. So why not try to boost his confidence and put him in the leadoff spot for a few games? Because if he plays to his ability thats a huge boost for this team. Try it for a week. If nothing happens put him back down in the 8 spot.
