Jordan and Magic are hypocrites b/c they were in huge markets and had great teammates. I'm not even a big LBJ fan I just hate when people bag on him. Cleveland had 7 years to build around LBJ. They got him Mo Williams as a sidekick to go along with a rookie coach. Nice moves.

Pippen is/was a no name without Jordan. Jordan would of been great, maybe not as great, but still great no matter what team he was on. Magic had great players around him as soon as he signed so he is an example of being fortunate enough to be on a great team from draft day. Lebron was in a similiar situation as Jordan. Lebron is gonna be great no matter who you put beside of him but getting lucky and finding his "Pippen"(someone who matches him perfect) was what Cleveland never did or seem to try hard to do. This is why I fault the Cavs because when Mo didn't work they stuck with him and then never improved any other positions to compliment Lebron, this is why the Cavs lost Lebron. Going to the Heat was the only option for Lebron to win a championship because the Cavs was a dead end road. He has figured out that if he stays in Cleveland and never wins a title then hes become a Karl Malone or Charles Barkely or Patrick Ewing. At least this way he is in the same sentence as Magic, maybe not Jordan, because he is on his own level with Bill Russell, but after he wins one championship and if he did win MVP then he can be put in Elite Status.

 

CP3 is extremely nice and an extremely hard worker. I played againest him in AAU and was at a camp with him and was fortunate enough to have met him. I wish him the best.

Everything LeBron wanted he got in Cleveland. Everything. Ben Wallace....done. Mo Williams....done. Shaq.......done. Re-sign Daniel Gibson.......done. Re-sign Anderson Varejao.....done. Re-sign Big Z after releasing him.....done. Even got the whole NBA to not sign Big Z for 30 days so he could come back to Cleveland because Big Z is just so good and everyone wanted to add Big Z to their team. Hang on.....he brought Big Z to Miami with him!!!!!!!:scared: Cleveland was held hostage by LeBron and his cronies for 7 years. To act as if he didn't have his fingerprints on the Cavs for the last 7 years is ridiculous. The only thing the organization is guilty of is letting LeBron be the GM.

 

Mo Williams was a Cav for 2 years.....in Scottie Pippen's 2nd year he was faking migraines so he wouldn't have to play against the Bad Boys.

 

I read somewhere that Mike Brown was glad he didn't have to pretend he liked or respected LeBron anymore after he was fired.

 

Hang on......Cleveland had the best record in the NBA the last 2 years and they played in the Finals in 2007. That means they were too competitive to dump salary like the Knicks and Heat did so the only thing they could do as an organization this year was re-sign LeBon and continue trying to build around him to win a ring. It took MJ 7 years to win in Chicago. Was that the organizations fault? LeBron is no MJ so why in the world would he be able to win a ring before MJ? Especially if they hadn't found him a "Pippen" yet? That's because he was the Pippen. A Pippen in search of an MJ. Now he has one.

PPP, I agree that Cleveland messed up letting LBJ have too much control. Guess what. Now he won't. Maybe he understood that a solid organization wouldn't bow down to a 20 year old. It doesn't change the fact that every player you mentioned was garbage. They could have got him Amare to see what would happen. That was the play.

Come on, HT. You know I like the Lakers just as much as you but when was the first time Bynum has been healthy enough to make an impact in the NBA Finals? Obviously he isn't needed that badly seeing as how he has been too hurt to play for more than a half and when he does play he gets 1 rebound. Just being real. When healthy he is excellent but he can't stay healthy. If I were the Lakers I wouldn't let him play this season at all until the playoffs started. And why in the world is he waiting until the end of July to have surgery on his 85 year old knees?

Pippen is no where near the talent level as Lebron. Lebron can go to any team and make them a competitive team. Lebron tried to pulll a Kobe I guess you could say. Lakers went and got Gaslo and Cavs went and hired another decent at best coach. At Miami Riley will call the shots and gather in the type of talent needed to be great, as he has recently done.

I am a Kobe fan but Lebron will eventaully win a championship as long as the Knicks, Boston, Orlando and other Eastern Conference team doesn't make it so hard to get out of the east that it wears that team out. The power conference imo is shifting , if not already especially now, over recent years back to the East overall. With Boston, Cavs and the emergence of Orlando now power team Heat, which are all teams that could win it an given year. Lakers are the best team in West especially since Amare left Nash and the Spurs growing old.

I'm not talking about Pippen stat wise, I am talking Pippen perception wise. His stats don't matter when DWade is the man in the middle of those 3 when they walk onto the court and LeBron is off to the side of DWade. LeBron is playing in Wade County and that is my only beef with his 'Decision.' It isn't his team.
