July 22, 201016 yr CP3 going to the Lakers I could definitely see happening, though I would hate it. I would love to see him go to NY. He would be best served in Orlando though I think. Oops to Howard, and 3 point shooters all over the place. CP3 would put up some crazy stats there.

July 22, 201016 yr Author I think the Lakers and and Magic are the only two logical places he'd go of the 3. Knicks don't have much to trade with, Lakers and Magic have more to part with IMO.

July 22, 201016 yr How would the Orlando deal work? LA could ship Bynum. They have been willing to give up anyone not named Howard. NO won't want Lewis or Nelson I wouldn't imagine. They have alot of guys, they may have to send VC and a bunch of guys. LA could send Bynum, but would they? Jackson doesn't really use a PG in the triangle (and never has), and taking Bynum out of their rotation makes Gasol have to play Center, which severely limits his value IMO. He's a great PF, but an average Center to me. CP3 would improve their talent level, but I personally don't see how it makes them that much better. NY would have to make some other moves to get him. They would need to send Felton out somewhere, but I couldn't see NO wanting him in a trade. Curry would be involved with the Hornets I would guess. I'm sure they'd rather give up Wilson Chandler, but Gallinari may have to be included. If a trade happens, I think Portland could be a wildcard IF Paul will go there. They could offer alot and still keep Roy and Aldridge IMO.
July 22, 201016 yr Broussard said the Lakers aren't a team he's looking at. He reported earlier that his sources are saying Knicks, Magic, Mavs & Trail Blazers.

He's no where near Paul's level but he is a talented player who Portland basically has to get rid of this off-season. Throw in Bayless or Andre Miller, possibly Batum (hopefully not), Pryzbilla or Oden if they have to. I think the Blazers have the most to offer New Orleans. Dallas has alot to offer but ithey're all over the hill.
July 22, 201016 yr Please, if there is an NBA God, allow the Magic to make this happen! The Heat wouldn't even be the best team in their state, let alone the East, if this were to go down, and they were able to hang on to Lewis and Nelson.
July 22, 201016 yr Author Paul going to the Mavs would basically mean the end of Jason Kidd wouldn't it? I could see Paul going to Portland, they have a lot of young players they could give up and they could just get rid of Oden if they wanted. I agree that they'd have to trade Fernandez.

I think he'd be a nasty combo with Howard. Actually I wish the two would meet up somewhere else. Something about the organization just has always killed me since Shaq left.

NO is going to try to include either Okafor or Posey in the deal. I think Paul waited to long to demand this trade. Teams could have done this three weeks ago. Cowherd's right. He's going to the Knicks. They'll take Okafor's terrible contract. Makes you wonder if Paul is out in front of Melo going there next year.
July 22, 201016 yr Please let the Lakers or Magic happen. Anything to let power balance back out. Houston or Portland would be the same way IMO. Any of those teams would instantly move to the top of their conference.
