Since I follow the White Sox, I can throw this in. Jenks has been rumored to be on the trading block the last few years, whether during the trade deadline or the off season. He still comes out and pitches whenever asked for the White Sox, he doesn't act like an immature baby and whine about being trade bait. It's part of the game, finish your contract, go to NY and stick it to New Orleans.

How are they hypocrites? They didn't leave the team that drafted them to go form an alleged super team with one another. Also, none of their HOF sidekicks were in the top 10 in players in the NBA(Kareem being the only notable exception, Pippen also, but still a way different scenario than The Decision). LeBron and DWade are the 2nd and 3rd best players in the NBA and Bosh is top 15 and LeBron tucked tail to go play with them. MJ, Magic and Bird each went to their situation with their drafted teams and became top 5 players of all time after leading their teams that drafted them to multiple titles. Something LeBron will never know anything about. :eyeonyou:

CP3 to the Lakers would work. Especially with Phil leaving after this year. Could be running a whole new system in a year anyways. CP3 to the Lakers would add 3-4 years onto Kobe's career also. Provided Kobe could handle being the 2nd best player on the team in about 2 years. :sssh::confused::idunno:

 

I'd really like to see CP3 go the Knicks and see Melo follow so we can watch the SuperFriends(Heat) and the Avengers(Knicks) battle for Eastern Conference Supremacy. :popcorn:

I'm still waiting for evidence of him acting like an immature baby. He has yet to not show up to training camp or declare he isn't playing this year. Requesting a trade is not being immature. How you respond if they don't grant you that trade should be the determing factor on his maturity.

Agreed, but how would that ever work out? It would have to be next year at the absolute earliest and CP3 pretty much has his mind made up.

^ That sounded weird let me clear up my post. CP3 wants to leave now. Rashard and Dwight Howard together are going to be there for at least 2 more seasons with payrolls of 23 and 19 million. Nelson, Redick, and Gortat together make up another 21 million. They would have to get rid of Lewis for sure to have any room for Melo next season and Carter would definitely be left out. Who is going to want to take on Rashard Lewis's 23 million dollar contract?

Boston could do it if they really wanted to and NO was willing to take Rondo. Pierce for Anthony this upcoming off-season (helps both teams somewhat I think). Garnett's money comes off the same year Howard is a free agent I think.
