Probably because our other options aren't going to do much better.

After sitting back and really thinking about the 6 man rotation we should have, I am thinking:

 

1. Cueto

2. Arroyo

3. Volquez

4. Wood

5. Harang

6. Leake

 

 

With Bailey and Maloney being optioned to AAA and being ready to go if one of the 6 is not pitching up to par.

Probably because our other options aren't going to do much better.

 

And the other CF options would do better?

Again, we seem to be forgetting that the Reds weren't exactly putting all stars in CF the last few seasons. I'll take Stubbs over any of those hacks

With the young arms, Volquez coming back from TJ and Harang becoming injury prone, the six man rotation idea is growing on me. The only person that will work against IMO is Arroyo.
