So let me get this straight. The biggest knock on Lebron thus far is that he hasn't won a championship. But if he goes to team up with Wade and Bosh in Miami and wins numerous championships, thats still not good enough because he had help? Please, every championship to be won in the NBA has been done with help. Magic had Kareem and then Cooper, Worthy (among countless other great players), Jordan had Pippen, Bird had Mchale and Parrish. Russel had Havlichek, Kobe had Shaq and Robbert Horry, then Gasol, Odom, Artest, etc., Olyjuawon had Drexler and Horry, Duncan had Robinson, then Ginobili and Parker (who in their primes were top 15-20 players). Face it, its a league in which you can't do it by your self and a bunch of average role players.

The Celtics just signed Jermaine O'neal, I agree with CCC simply he can't become the greatest to play the game if he's not the number one guy. Also I dont think when your selling a "brand" you cant be the side kick to anyone. Also from all these sources leaking information probably only a handful of people knows what he is doing and Lebron pays all of them you would think he would want it to be hush hush since he is doing a one hour special and raising money for the Boys and Girls club of America. I hope its Cleveland or the Knicks we shall find out tonight!

Celts don't have the assets for David Lee they could send to the Knicks, or at least I can't imagine that they do. Shaq, Jermaine O'Neal, or someone like Brad Miller is probably who'll they'll go after. If they could get Jermaine and Miller to split the MLE I would go that route if I were them. It's better than nothing.

Maybe LeBron can shine DWade's Finals MVP trophies in the future.

Okay, whatever SSC. I get sick and tired of arguing with you. If you're a LeBron fan and you think it's a good idea to become a total sell out and go to the easiest place to win a title is that is your right. I personally don't. As much time and money as I've spent watching LeBron and the Cavs over the years and as bad as it's been to watch them get knocked out of the playoffs every year, I'll personally be disappointed to see him get a championship with a loaded team in the future that isn't the Cavs.

 

Maybe you're not a real LeBron fan and obviously aren't a Cavs fan, but I think that winning one there would have been so much more enjoyable for me on a personal level, as a very long-term fan of his. With as much crap as I've taken on here over the last few years, I'm not pumped about any of this garbage that has went on. Which player that you named chased a championship like LeBron is doing? Artest? And who cares about him as far as the history of basketball is concerned. Chasing after a championship is what washed up, old, should-be-retired basketball players do. Malone, Gary Payton, Rasheed Wallace, Shaq not a guy that has just entered his prime.

I think he'll be a solid contributer next year. And I think right now Jermaine is as good as those two. He's a better scorer then those 2 are right now and thats what Boston needed. Another scoring Big Man.
