No Gomes, Rolen, or Hernandez. Might be a tough day at the plate.

I don't know why Dusty likes to give 3 starters the day off at once.

Kinda worried about Bronson again. He really struggled last game with Miller.

I agree about the lineup, its the rubber game of the series that they need to win. Not a fan of running the B lineup out to try to get the job done.

I don't mind anything Phillips did there. He hit his chest but it wasn't at anyone and didn't taunt anyone directly at all. If a pitcher strikes a guy out and hits his chest or fist pumps' date=' then you aren't thinking he showed you up are you? Anyone who has ever played anything competitive knows that is a intense part of the game and things like that never bothered me at all.[/quote']

I don't have any issues with Brandon Phillips either. I love the play at the plate...nice to see him show some heart. Awesome of him to not even look at the pitcher either.

He does seem to have a trend of doing that and I must say it is rather frustrating.

P.S. I'd rather see Heisey in there then Nix.

Typical "toothpick" Sunday lineup. Go back and look at the Red's record under Dusty on Sundays. I'd be willing to bet it is well under .500

I'll go ahead and say Bronson will not have such a good outing today. I just have a feeling.

To quote Edgar Allen Poe, "when he was good he was very, very good and when he was bad he was horrid.

Laynce Nix is absolutely pitiful in left field.

The Reds' effort today, especially at the plate, has been disgusting. They have shown every sign of wanting to board that plane just as soon as they can.

Here's the toothpick's chance to try to win a close game with decisions he makes. My guess is that he won't make any real good moves.
