June 4, 201016 yr John Fay and Walt Jocketty have that same feeling. Well thats where I saw it. Walt didn't exactly say he was all for it but that he might consider it. One of the starters is going to have to go in the bullpen it just makes sense it would be the guy coming back from injury.
June 4, 201016 yr http://cincinnati.com/blogs/reds/ “We’re obviously keeping an eye on (Chapman). He’s getting better. He finally got to seven innings. He’s making real good progress.” While there isn’t an immediate need for a starter, the bullpen has been the weakest link on the team. Jocketty says the plan with Chapman does not involve using him in relief. “Not right now,” Jocketty said. So, if Bailey comes back and pitches well, is there a chance there won’t be room for Chapman at all this year? “That’d be a nice problem to have,” Jocketty said. “There’s always that chance. We’ll see. These things take care of themselves.” It sounds like there’s a better chance that Edinson Volquez could be looked at as reliever. “I can’t answer that,” Jocketty said. “It’s a consideration. But we’re trying to groom him as a starter. We’ll see how he does on his rehab.” Jocketty said neither Chapman nor Volquez would be moved to the bullpen out of need. “That’s not the plan,” he said. “But plans can change.”

June 5, 201016 yr Harang just really doesn't seem to be what he used to be anymore. He actually had a decent May, but he is laboring big time tonight...
June 5, 201016 yr Yeah, you are right. It's just that he doesn't seem anywhere near as reliable as he used to be, in my opinion.
June 5, 201016 yr Dusty yanks Harang after only 4 IP and 98 pitches thrown. That is refreshing to see.
June 5, 201016 yr Dusty yanks Harang after only 4 IP and 98 pitches thrown. That is refreshing to see. He definitely didn't seem to have his best stuff today. Most balls I've seen him throw in the dirt in a while.
June 5, 201016 yr The Reds have to do a bullpen makeover if they expect to keep up with the Cards. How about Harangto the pen, and Chapman to the rotation, and get Burton up here.
