What good movies have you seen lately?

Finally saw "Deepwater Horizon" -- had it not been a true story, and one I had obviously followed closely due to the BP involvement / disaster, I would have given it a C to C+. Given the legitimacy of the story, and the way they humanized it at the end, I'd give it a solid B to B+. Definitely worth seeing.

Man, John Malkovich plays an awesome bad dude.

I've been meaning to catch that one. And you're totally right...Malkovich has the movie villain down to an art.

Watched Wonder Woman last week and really liked it. Good story and acting.

I watched "Lion" a few weeks ago because it was nominated for Best Picture. I was a little hesitant to rent it because sometimes some of the worse movies I've ever watched were Academy Award nominees (I put this year's winner Moonlight in that category. Got halfway through it and that was all I could watch).

But Lion turned out to be a great movie. Based on a true story and a good story.

Watched "Don't Breathe" the other night. Really liked it. Very suspenseful.
