May 6, 201016 yr I don't think those women have to worry about being sexually objectified, unless of course one had a too few many to drink. Actually, it would take a whole lot of one too many for me.
May 6, 201016 yr Author Let me add this scenario: These women contend that breasts are "just flesh", in the same sense that men's chests are "just flesh". Would they, then, be bothered were someone to casually touch their "flesh" as they would simply touch their shoulder or their hand? Under most current laws, if a man were to touch a woman's breasts without consent, that would be grounds for sexual assault, but to the best of my knowledge, there isn't much president creating such a crime for a man non-consensually touching another man's chest. Would these women be willing to do away with that double standard? Thanks. This is what I was looking for. Can a woman be arrested for sexual assault for touching a man's breast?

May 6, 201016 yr Ft. Wright, KY has an ordinance outlawing men from going shirtless. It's probably been in place for 12 or 13 years now. I had no idea.
May 6, 201016 yr I had no idea. I don't know how serious they are about enforcing it as a whole, but I know a handful of Ft. Wright residents - all males of course - who had patrolling police officers inform them that they had to put their shirts back on when they had been cutting the grass without a shirt on (in their own yards).
May 6, 201016 yr I had just trained myself not to stare at a ladies breasts. Now you're telling me they don't care if I look ?

May 6, 201016 yr In my opinion this is simply a group of women who want to be a part or some type of movement, who want to cause a stir and who want to be a part of something. I don't think I'll see the day when women freely walk around topless.
May 6, 201016 yr Located where? :sssh: I'm giving myself way too much credit for calling it a collar .
May 7, 201016 yr Author In my opinion this is simply a group of women who want to be a part or some type of movement, who want to cause a stir and who want to be a part of something. I don't think I'll see the day when women freely walk around topless. My guess is that in 1950 folks said "We'll never see women wearing (fill in with anything you see women wearing today)." Secondly, you've stated the obvious that they wanted to cause a stir. That's what all protests are designed to do. That doesn't mean its not worthy of consideration. MLK wanted to cause a stir. Susan B Anthony wanted to cause a stir. No stir = no change.
May 7, 201016 yr Aren't you doing it in this statement? Well let me rephrase it, I don't think they have to worry about being sexually objectified in a positive manner.
