Is Ken Lockhard really that big? Not doubting you, just surprised. Last time I saw him he was about 215 -220. If he can still move like he used to, weighing 240, he maybe one of the biggest surprises for 2010 season.

 

When I seen play Basketball he looked about 220 but a few weeks ago i was talking to Coach Mcdonald and he said Lockard is a 250 pound beast! Either way he is strong, fast and very talented kid!

Conner has 2 returners both guards Max Ingram 6'2 245lbs. and Johnny Gripsover at 5'11 265lbs. Howard Watkins who played tuff defense last year may be going both ways playing OL/DlL he is 6'3 260. Coach Blood will find the right formula for the front line.N.Ky has only 1 team with almost of the front line returning and thats Ryle. But that why spring ball and conditioning comes in to be a factor,with good coaching so Conner has all of that we will see when season begins cant wait.

Young man, I need to give you a big hug if we ever meet as you bring some humor to my day. I don't see any post in this thread saying SK's OL won't be that good. And when you say "everybody", well I am a "body", and I've never said any thing of the sort. Do you have some sort of inferiority complex?

I haven't seen him since basketball season, but he was looking rather large. I don't guess weights at Kings Island so I'm an amatuer but I wouldn't be shocked if he's 240.

I think the CovCath O-line may surprise some folks. I am not saying they are going to be the best, I'm not sure how you measure that BTW.

 

You have Thaxton, Way, Kuderer, Connaughton all returning with good experience from last year. If a couple kids step up, I think you could have a very productive group.

First off, nobody ever said in this thread that SK wasn't going to have a good line next year or anything of that sort. What you hear OUTSIDE of BGP isn't what's being said on here.

 

But considering SK lost pretty much their entire line, including a D1 Signee, I'll go ahead and say that SK's line won't be AS GOOD as they were last year.

 

Also, I'm not so sure SK's line was even that good this past year. A lot of Miles' and Chad's success came off of them making something out of nothing.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure if you watch the film from last year you'll see that it wasn't SK's line that was dominating Ryle, but rather Miles Simpson and Chad Lawrence simply doing it on their own since there were no holes. See how many times they got stopped 5 yards behind the line but used their speed and athelticism to get out of it. Could it be that maybe the "abusing" was coming from the YOUNGER Ryle players? :sssh:

 

Thank goodness SK doesn't return any of those interior players on either side of the ball this year.. Ryle might actually have a chance now. (Insert :rollseyes: that BGP no longer has on here) :lol:

Not sure what game you watched but I remember Hansel making holes 10 foot wide right up the middle every time he pulled. In NKY top 10 everybody keeps saying SK's OL will not be good guess we will see.
