April 22, 201016 yr Morgan won't have any input on any on the field related issues. But he will on players, according to Jocketty. And not only that, but now Reds fans get two know-it-alls in the booth. There are times when Morgan will be consulted by general manager Walt Jocketty on baseball decisions or players on the team. "I think when you get an opportunity to bring someone like Joe into the organization -- with his success as a Hall of Famer, a former MVP -- all you have to do is listen to one of his ESPN telecasts to realize how much he knows about this game," Jocketty said. "I look forward to picking his brain at different situations, about players." And that's not all. "I want to do some games with Marty and Thom [brennaman] here," Morgan said. "I got some permission from ESPN to broadcast some games here. I'm going to be a guest, not really part of the broadcast team."
April 22, 201016 yr I'm not the biggest fan of the crappy left hander, but I would gladly take him over Joe. I guess there is always that handy mute button...
April 22, 201016 yr Where are all of the people saying Harang wasn't that bad when I blasted him earlier this year and the past 2 years before this? Where are the people saying all he needed were a couple mechanical issues fixed and he'd be ok? He's awful and I can't wait until he leaves and never have to look as his emotionless, boring looking face ever again. Oh yeah. Dude makes 12.5 million to throw like a rookie. If you haven't noticed yet, I can't stand Harang. I have supported him and not ashamed of it. It looks like he has completely lost it though. As for fixing our pitching problems, haven't saw where the hiring of Price has really paid any dividends. Pitching is terrible !
April 22, 201016 yr This team is making me sad. I love and will always love the Reds, they are "my" team, but year after year I (we) get my (our) hopes up and year after year I'm disappointed. I hope they can turn this around but Harang has been brutal, the bullpen has been shaky and the hitting is lacking to be nice about it. Of course I'm a glutton for punishment so I'll be watching again tonight....

April 22, 201016 yr Author Article about Harang and his trade value (or lack thereof). http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/MLB-latest-news-from-April-040310 Harang says that it's "bad luck." Somebody, please tell Harangatang THAT IT'S NOT FREAKING BAD LUCK WHEN YOU GROOVE A 92 MPH FASTBALL or throw a spinner up to the plate and the other team crushes it. It's almost sad, really. Harang is completely lost.

April 22, 201016 yr Author I like tonight's lineup. I don't mind having Stubbs in the lineup, but he simply cannot be leading off with the way he's been striking out lately.
