April 24, 201016 yr There have been times in recent years when you see tickets on StubHub for one dollar. A DOLLAR! I will go for a dollar.... Can't find much else to do on a Saturday night for a buck!

April 25, 201016 yr CINCINNATI -- Dusty Baker is fed up -- and apparently, he let his players know it. Baker spoke with the Cincinnati Reds after they made three baserunning blunders and outfielder Drew Stubbs lost track of the number of outs in a 5-0 loss to the San Diego Padres on Saturday. But he did not participate in his usual postgame session with the media. "Dusty's upset, and rightfully so," third baseman Scott Rolen said when told Baker didn't talk with reporters after the Reds had a season-low four hits while being shut out for the first time this season. "He's not happy with what's going on on the field. We're not either," Rolen said.

April 25, 201016 yr For as bad as they have been and as horrible as the pitching has been they are 3 1/2 games out of first place. It's a long season and I have to believe the pitching can get better. After May 15h we might be able to add a huge piece to the rotation and then around July when Edinson comes back that could be another boost. If they can hang around its possible they could make a late push. The Cards have to play down a little bit otherwise they will run away with it. As far as the hitting,:puke: , we knew it would be bad so I don't know why anyone is surprised. Stubbs won't be on this team much longer.
April 25, 201016 yr Yep, Reds team ERA right now sits at over 6. No way that continues and the batting average is around .238, they can't get any worse.
April 25, 201016 yr I think the stat somewhere is that a leadoff walk scores 70 percent of the time, leave it to the Reds to find a way to NOT score. They don't take advantage and we see what happens the next half inning Maybe they shouldn't pitch to Gonzalez anymore... Scratch that, found a stat that says it's 40 percent. That just seems way too low.
April 25, 201016 yr It must be tough to pitch when you know your team is only going to score 3 or maybe 4 runs a game.
