Track The Reds (Week 3)

Featured Replies

Well, since my 1st thread got deleted, we'll try it again.

Reds are off today.

Homer Bailey v. Chad Billingsley on Tuesday.

Could be another 12 - 15 K game for the Reds.

Reds lose 5 straight and now come home to face the Dodgers. Uh oh.

It didn't get deleted, it was merged with the week 2 thread since we were still in week 2 when you started the week 3 thread. :p

The Cubs just lost 2 out of 3 at home to Houston. Cardinals stay remotely healthy, they should win this division going away.

Indeed, I started it a few hours early...

Premature postulation

Wonder how its gonna look at the end of April.

The Rays should be a good small market comparsion to the Reds. Reds probably have a higher salary. Reds starters have zero wins, can't throw strikes and lead the free world in pitches thrown. The Rays starters are a measley 7-1 and has a 2.71 ERA. What's the difference? Other than David Price who do they have? They dumped Kazmir.

Matt Garza is a stud. 1st round draft pick.

David Price is a stud. #1 overall pick.

Jeff Niemann is another relatively young pitcher who has great stuff. #4 overall pick.

James Shields isn't great, but has proven to be very serviceable over the past 3-4 seasons.

Their 5th starter is a big, young Wade Davis who got called up late last year and pitched relatively well. He's a 3rd round pick.

The Reds are on the right path, but the Rays have been doing it the right way for a much longer time than Cincinnati, which is why they're miles ahead right now...

Cabrera

Phillips

Rolen

Bruce

Gomes

Hernandez

Bailey

The Dodgers try to improve upon their 22-4 record versus the Reds since the start of the 2006 season. They’ve lost only one of their last seven series in Cincinnati and are 7-2 at Great American Ballpark since losing their first two games there in August 2007.

Cincinnati is off to its worst start since dropping 13 of 18 to open 2003.

The last time Homer pitched against the Dodgers on August 28, 2009 in Cincinnati.

Homer went 8 innings, gave up 7 hits, walked 1 & struck out 7. The Reds won 4-2.

Reds come back with 6 in the 2nd to take a 6-3 lead, wow.

You figured they were due to have a break out game eventually...
