Reds starters have zero wins, can't throw strikes and lead the free world in pitches thrown. The Rays starters are a measley 7-1 and has a 2.71 ERA. What's the difference? Other than David Price who do they have? They dumped Kazmir.

Other than David Price who do they have? They dumped Kazmir. Matt Garza is a stud. 1st round draft pick. David Price is a stud. #1 overall pick. Jeff Niemann is another relatively young pitcher who has great stuff. #4 overall pick. James Shields isn't great, but has proven to be very serviceable over the past 3-4 seasons. Their 5th starter is a big, young Wade Davis who got called up late last year and pitched relatively well. He's a 3rd round pick. The Reds are on the right path, but the Rays have been doing it the right way for a much longer time than Cincinnati, which is why they're miles ahead right now...

April 20, 201016 yr Author The last time Homer pitched against the Dodgers on August 28, 2009 in Cincinnati. Homer went 8 innings, gave up 7 hits, walked 1 & struck out 7. The Reds won 4-2.
