Last time i checked Bob Sanders and Troy Polamula are 5'9 and 5'10. 2 of the top Safety's.

 

There is always an exception to the rule. Bob Sanders runs a 4.36 and Troy Polamalu runs a 4.33, just a bit faster than your average safety. It's quite a stretch to compare a high shcool JR to an elite athlete that plays in the NFL. Again, I have nothing but good things to say about Austin Baldwin, he is a fine high school LB, but unfortunately he doesn't have the height or that kind of speed. From what I have been told by coaches and parents of kids that are getting recruited for these positions, major colleges are looking for someone that is 6'2" or taller and that can run, that's not to say that they always find them.

Baldwin is about 5'11 190 and Lockard is 6'2 230 both are stud LB's!!!

I don't think so. I don't think he is originally from this area. I believe he attended Liberty University though.

Saw Schaeffer from CovCath the other day. He definitely looks the part of a LB. My guess is he is about 215 or 220. If he is still running in the 4.7 range, he could be a real force on the defense thise year.

I have talked to a few people who have seen the young LB'S.

They are all big , strong and much faster than last year.

I f they play well, CovCath will have not a good year, but a great year.

I am glad to hear that. I was thinking the same thing when I questioned them playing faster this year, a while back on here. So, who do expect to be the starting LB's come the first game this year?
