I guess the pic of Justice didn't come across the first time... Both Justice and Polson are very good players, but there is a clear difference in physical strength... Hope everything works out for Polson at UK. I would like to see him there over the next few years to see how his game develops.

Polson played well today...there was no offer but he was invited back next week.

 

He played with Cousins, Harris, Miller, Hood, Liggins, Ravi Moss and Wayne Turner that I know of for sure.

Wireman, I've agreed with everything you've mentioned so far. As 12th Region fans, you and I both know that Polson can play. I think his lack of "name recognition" might make some around the state question his ability. And I'm not sure if he would ever be a star, but I think without a doubt he can be a contributor over time in Lexington. And the way Calipari recruits, you need stability to go with the one-and-dones. Polson gives you that stability and a solid presence. I really hope he gets the chance at UK.

For those that are not familiar with him - he held his own today. He scored, handled the ball - he'd be a nice addition as a walk-on.

I hope it works out. If nothing else, it's good to see in-state guys get the opportunity to play. I'm more interested to know how Hood, Miller & Liggins looked.

I wonder how many people realize it was nearly Holmes and West Jessamine in the 2009 Sweet 16 title game. Polson is as good as any player at the State Tournament the past two seasons.

I honestly think Hood will develop into a very nice shooter for the Cats. He didnt get much time this season when he probably could have shot just as well as Darius or Dodson.

If anything, Polson is enjoying himself right now. It was pretty cool watching the pick up games in the past couple of years at UK and even UL. Hopefully it'll work out for him.

I've seen the kid play for the last 5 years. He is every bit of 6'2. He is very lanky, and very crafty. Crafty is the best way to describe him. He's left handed, good ball handler, decent range on his jumper, and a great free-throw shooter. He always seem to have a natural feel for the game, a high basketball IQ kid.

 

I never really thought of him as a D1 player. I figured him to be really good NAIA player. However, that doesn't mean he couldn't contribute as a walk-on and be an asset to the team. It would be a tremendous oppurtunity for him.

 

I wish him the best, and hope he gets his shot at UK. Seems like a really good kid.
