Lone Oak to play Male?

Featured Replies

Just heard Lone Oak has replaced Green County with Male.....Looks like if this is true that Lone Oak is beefing up its schedule a bit with a 6 A power.....That makes 3 6A schools and Lex Cath on the schedule...That should help come playoff time..Maybe that will give them the push they need to finally win one.....??????Any thoughts on this??

Home/Away, Date?

I assume that it will be away for LO and about week 7,:idunno: i think thats when Green was scheduled...I will be able to confirm this after spring break.....

Great. Lone Oak's schedule will have the kids ready by playoff time. No worries about that.

Agreed. They were ready last year and nearly won it. Perhaps one more big-time matchup during the regular season will give them the experience and competition necessary to get them over the hump.

Does Lone Oak return much/most from last year's team?

We lost 3 off. lineman, Thacker at MLB,Starks at RB, and 2 D lineman and Looper at QB.

After spring ball i would say the recieving core is better than last year, The line is bigger and the D is comming around. The QB situation is fine with a Soph backup from last year that almost won the starting job...Really wont know until fall practice begins like most teams but right now it looks like we just reloaded a little stronger than last year..

:scared: I thought they were plenty big last year.

Good luck to the Flash. :thumb:

I'd like to see Lone Oak get a Championship before the consolidation. I wonder how competitive McCracken County will be in 6A...

Yes it will. 6a teams can be brutal at times though.

LO and PT need to play but the powers that b seem to shy away from this
