Alex Cross, the detective from the James Patterson novels and portrayed by Morgan Freeman in the films "Along Came a Spider" and "Kiss the Girls" has a test. This test can tell if someone thinks like a psychopath. If you have read the novels, please don't spoil it for anyone else.

Please answer the following question- if you can answer it correctly, then you think like a psychopath:

A woman's mother dies. She attends the funeral. She sees a man there. She instantly falls in love with him, but she never gets any information from the guy; no name, phone number, e-mail address, nothing.

The woman then goes home and, two days later, she murders her own sister.

Why would she do this?

If you think like a psychopath, then you know the answer- any guesses?

I was thinking that the sister is a twin and she doesn't want the man to fall for her instead. That or she figures the guy may look in on the sisters later on, but I'm going with the first one, though I'm not sure I really want to be right.

So that there can be another funeral and she is thinking that the man might come to this one as well?

If this is correct I'm not a psychopath! I was thinking, "its her sisters husband"

We know it's not you, just the countless psycho's youve dated. That does make sense though it being her sisters husband; she wouldn't need his info.

A psychopath does not feel love, or any other emotion, so how could she fall in love with a guy she met?

Ding ding ding...we have a winner!

Incidently, I will be blocking you from my account now...just a precaution, nothing personal.

I agree. Neither a psychopath or a sociopath have genuine feelings. They show feelings from time to time, but it's simply to manipulate someone else, not because they actually feel something.

See, I was thinking Ram was confusing psychopath and sociopath.
