Derek Smith All Stars plays Team Kentucky at 4 PM Saturday.

This should be a good game. Keep us posted on the winner.

According to the KnoxVegas Heat website, the NKY Bulldogs were playing tonight. Anyone know the outcome of their matchup with the Greenville Tar Heels?

The Shinning Stars coached by Todd Downs was playing the Cincy Knights. Knights where up double digits at half on a array of dunks by the Knights. Knights had some big kids in the middle. Cody Chambers of SK wasn't getting much time playing for the Stars?

Chambers got two early fouls in the game so he had to sit in the first half. He still played a good game though having scored 15 points.

The NKY Bulldogs knocked off the Greenville Tarheels 57 to 41 in the opening round of pool play at the Knoxvegas heat. They play this afternoon at 2:45 against the Jacksonville Jets. The Bulldogs were led by Bobby Stauffer and Matt Trammel who each finished with 13. The Bulldogs looked really good with a couple of nice dunks by Tyler Hodges and Jack Stewart.

What happened in the two games the NKY Bulldogs had today? I am seeing on the KnoxVegas Heat website that they were to play the Jacksonville Nets and the Columbia Hoyas today.

Great to hear that Trammel played a nice game. I know that he had a tough school year with the injury. Good for him. Also nice to hear that Stauffer is picking up where he left off. Good luck to the Bulldogs. Who is heating up down there in Knoxville?

I wish I knew what was going on in those Team Kentucky games. 3 games in six hours is brutal for them boys. I am sure they will be able to fight through. Good luck and keep us updated.

Who all is playing for the SSS-Downs team? Is Pike playing for them? Good to hear Chambers had a good game.

Has anyone heard about the Charlotte Court in Tennessee?

Any word on how Team Ky did today?

Zeke Pike is playing with the SSS-Downs team.

Any word on how Team Ky did today?

Team KY is doing good for it's first weekend, once they get their big men back in two weeks it will be a bit better.

The first game Vs the DSAS went well and was within single digits most of the way, but Team KY missed a lot of free throws which is unusual as they are a good free throw shooting team. The second game was much better, but the opposing team was perfect from the line, the game came down to the last shot.

Team KY has a quick guard oriented team now, once they get a few tourneys under their belt it will be fine, and again when the big men join the team. This team has 5 players who will return from the group they had last July, which was successful out west.

The team is led once again by Jaylen Daniel from GRC. Several players will end up doing well, including Tyler Fangman who is another very good shooter, he has grown a bit. I'll add more later, next game is at 10AM in Florence.

Team KY advanced today and played The Truth, Team KY jumped out to an early lead, then the game was back and forth for the rest of the game, and The Truth ended up winning by about 3 or 4. The Truth is a very long team and they have a couple of excellent shooters from the 3.

Jeff Whitton from Clark Co did a great job! He is leading the team in drawing charges, about 4 a game! He has a really nice shot, and was going up against 6-7 and 6-9 players in the paint and was able to score. Look for him to a lot more PT on the varsity level next year.

Jaylen Daniel did well again today, as did Charlie Rogers, and Jake Handshoe from Montgomery Co is a really nice shooter and is able to play really good D.

Tyler Fangman had another good day, knocking down 3's and playing hard-nosed D.

Team KY only had 7 players today, as Zack Perkins was out do to a minor ankle issue, but will be back next week.
