Blue Magic Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 This summer going from 85 women down to 1 per Adam Schefter's twitter. I know he's going to get burned for this on here but honestly, I think it's hilarious.
sportsnut859 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 The dude is a mastermind. Everyone can call him an idiot all they want, but he is setting himself up for life after football more and more each day.
spindoc Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Definitely a better route than Big Ben has taken.

theguru Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I think this and Dancing with the Stars is a little much for one off season considering you know there will be conflicts. It shows us once again just how selfish Chad is...
bugatti Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I think this and Dancing with the Stars is a little much for one off season considering you know there will be conflicts. It shows us once again just how selfish Chad is... Football is not Chad's top priority, especially at this point in his career. I am not saying that to degrade what he is doing, it is just the reality of the situation.

It shows us once again just how selfish Chad is... I think it shows how selfish Bengals fans are that they complain about every little thing one of their players does during the offseason. I'm sure you don't run everything you do in your free time by your employer, why should Chad have to?

If he has the worst year of his career this season, will you be upset he did all this in the off-season?
UKMustangFan Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 If he has the worst year of his career this season, will you be upset he did all this in the off-season? Nope. Not one bit, and I know I'm in the minority with that. I actually like when athletes start looking out for when their playing days are over.

I actually like when athletes start looking out for when their playing days are over. I'm on your side here UKMF. I love the things he does. I think it's entertaining. I feel in his heart he believes he's an entertainer that plays football, not a football players that occasionally entertains. He does what he loves doing, and I applaud him for doing so. He doesn't care if people don't like what he's doing as long as he's loving it and having fun. Good for Chad. It's selfish for us to bash Chad for doing what he loves the most. Why should we be the one's determining what his main hobby/job is? If he chooses entertainment over football who are we to say that football is more important? Just because WE want the Bengals to win? Believe me I want the Bengals to succeed as much as the next guy, but Chad should be able to do what he wants as long as it's not violating his contract fine print.

Even the Mike's from Mike and Mike said this last week about him being on Dancing with the Stars. He has about a million Twitter followers and a good number of them will tune in. He will also be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight, and soon on George Lopez. I think his option year is 2011, he knows the next contract he signs in football may be his last, he is looking out for himself and having fun with it.

I'm sure you don't run everything you do in your free time by your employer, why should Chad have to? I have policy that dictates what I can and cannot do so yes I would have to run everything by my employer but that is not the point. I am not saying Chad has to run anything by his employer, I am saying he is a professional athlete that is paid millions of dollars a year on a team that underachieves and he needs to set an example as a leader on that team and attend all the off season workouts and make the Bengals his top priority.

Chad is a football player and without football he wouldn't sniff DWTS or VH1. I have said it for years, Chad is a cancer but we/the Bengals are pretty much stuck with him.
