10th Region Draw

Featured Replies

Candy, popcorn, pizza, chili dogs, and soda. What more do want from a high school concession stand? Leg of lamb and St. Louis style spareribs maybe? If your that hungry, patronize the local restaurants before the games. I promise you, these are the same items served at mostly all KHSAA high school gyms. Sneak into the Hospitality Room, lol.

Well lets see, Montgomery Co had some great pork sandwiches, that would be a start. As many times as Mason has hosted the tourney You would think they would have already done this.:idunno: When we played in the KOB they had fresh FF, they were great. Does Mason Co. sell nachos? All schools I have been to have those. Also some coffee would be great too.

C'mon, folks. We're talking about pork sandwiches and popcorn in a thread about the 10th Region draw.

Simple draw to discuss. Mason got the toughest of the district runners-up, pure and simple. But they were fortunate to have Clark and Scott in the opposite side of the bracket.

Bottom line - to be the best, you have to beat the best. Doesn't really matter whether it's sooner or later.

Agree--Only eight teams in the draw, so hopefully all have something to offer? Let the games begin, and lets see who makes the trip to Lexington!!

Last year was the 3rd time they met, this will be the 4th. Scott vs GRC met in Region the years of 2009, 2007, 2006.

AND Very ironic (nothing clandestine) that Brossart has met Mason County in the 2010, 2009, 2007, and 2006 without ever hooking up with Clark County. Being careful what I wish for, we'll take whoever rolls out of the bottle, but it is very coincidental that the Cards and Eagles seem to have this attraction for each other, while the Mustangs and Royals seem to be steady dates.

If you go to all games (boys and girls) it cost each person $55.00 a family of 4 would only be $220.00 to get to set in one of the hottest gyms in the country with popcorn so salty you can't eat it, what more could you want?

Don't forget the nacho's and cheese, pretty good!:thumb:

It's one thing for adults, but when you look at the students who have to pay for their own tickets, $7 is too high and turns a lot of students away. You lose a lot of fan support with the raised prices IMO.

I love how we keep to finding things wrong with the fieldhouse.

1) How much were tickets at NKU last year, or even if we had the tourny at Mont Co. I would say at Mont Co it would be at least $6.00.

2) Concession at NKU where way more expensive. Pop is 1.50 and Popcorn is 1.00 at Mason Co. Pop was at least 2.50 at NKU.

3) If you don't wanna eat at the concession stand then go to Pasquales or Greg's Pizza before the game.
