10th Region Draw

On a side note, Tickets to the BOKC are only $6.00 (if purchased in advance) per night and for that $6.00 you see two games each night. So it's cheaper to attend the Ninth in the beautiful and new BOKC than the Field House image that! :D

Who wants to mess with buying them in advance? The only way to do it without any extra cost is to drive up to the BOKC and that right there is an expense with gas. With it being in the Fieldhouse we get the championship game at primetime and it only costing $5. I could not be happier and cannot wait to walk in there Monday night for the championship game and see the Fieldhouse packed again for the regional finals. Boy have I missed that sight!

I like watching both games, but not if they clear the gym, have to wait around and the long drive home. Also like to have my tickets in advance. Yet another advantage for the Mason fans for having it at Mason...

I feel like I am being baited by a moderator because we all know what this thread will turn into if this debate keeps up. It is in Mason this year and will be next year also, so of course I could not be happier. For now I will just talk about this years regional tourney and the teams in it. I don't feel like a debate on where the region is is appropriate for this thread. If you want to do that could you please start your own thread?

Goldie, my guess is (Snappy502) wasn't on BGP's last year when the fans from Mason County cried about the cost of attending the games in all the threads about the 10th Region Tournament last year.

Seems it's not the cost of the tickets after all, for if it were, you would think they would be complaining big time about the $7.00 to attend the games at the Field House. No the complaint was that it wasn't being played in Maysville, Ky in the Field House, like it has always has been!:walk:

It is still not cheaper because the only way to buy them in advance is to drive up there(money in gas) or buy them off ticketmaster(there are fees with this). Last year to go to the championship game I know we payed more than $5 dollars. You will say that we got to see two games but it made me sick knowing that all the 10th region was was a warmup game for the 9th region. Also, I do not want to watch the 9th region championshp because all it is is that old slow down ball 40 to 40 game. Teams can't beat Holmes so they slow it down to try to have a chance. This year in the semifinals is also only $5 and that is perfect. Most fans do not go to both games so this way they can go see their team and only pay $5. You can not beat that.

$7.00 a game.

I will probably stay home for the boys' game. Spending close to $40 after admission and concessions for the whole family, not to count the cost of fuel is a little steep.

If it's confusing at all:

First round games are $7 per night. Two games, one $7 cost on Thursday, and on Friday.

Saturday Semis are $5 per session, clear the gyms in between.

Championship is $5.

That's what I thought it said too. Not bad at all.

Hard draw for Mason County, but they'll be in the finals.

So you don't go to Rupp Arena to watch and see the other Regions play in the sweet sixteen before or after Mason County game? Keep on trying you will think of something to counter with!

BTW Boone gave Holmes it's toughest game in the Ninth Region Tourney. Maybe if some of the teams down state had followed what Boone did, maybe Holmes wouldn't have been the State Champion!

Explain how you think it is a hard draw for Mason.

No.

Looks like GRC/Scott winner takes on Mason for a trip to Rupp.

So Scott vs. #1 seed GRC should be a close one, and Brossart, who just lost to Scott on a last second shot and beat them in the regular season, has NO chance vs. Mason, the #2 seed?? While Mason certainly will be the favorite, I'm a tad  ????

Love basketball. Anything can happen. For example, Brossart beat Campbell County, who beat Mason County, who beat Brossart. I think it will be an exciting tourney this year with an upset by someone.
