Thanks for the info. I thought that was the case. So T will play, Male, J-town or Moore... and... Ballard will play Manual, Fern Creek or Eastern. It can be argued that the losers are as good as the winners.

Looks like we may have a situation of Trinity not being able to solve the Bruins. Of course, I've told you guys that Ballard is a team of destiny. Once every 11 years, they win the title. '77, '88, '99, and.....

I made the same comment to my brother in law when Ryle's Lady Raiders played Ballard the first game of the year when I looked up at the banners.:ylsuper:

I totally agree. If we were to loose and snap the streak - rather it be last night obviously. Ballard is tuff tuff tuff. Always has been and always will be - in B-ball. NO shame there. I really cannot disagree too strongly with another poster who claimd B is "best team" in the REgion. REally like the Rocks chances but it will be a tremendous undertaking. Let's not get too

ahead of ourselves - some very formidable opponents before any rematch - should there be one. GO ROCKS.:thumb:

As to b-ball, feels pretty strange to know winning last night essentially 'won' us a MUCH tougher first game than if we'd lost. I'm not much for 'random draws' - why not seed the winners and losers and match them that way?

I know very well what you have begun at B and how your program is on the rise. In your short time there you have made tremendous strides. My reference was to the past. I dont know how we could "bear it" if we got spanked in both sports :eek:.

 

I thought the quote from the B player was telling in that Friday night was "revenge for the football team." Don't think you need anymore motivation and it was not my intent to provide you with any.

 

I know at the last JV game of the season - your JV's beat X's @ X in OT (I think I recall). That was very telling to me.
