I think the close game with the Beechies in the first go around will keep the Dogs focused throughout. I'm sure it's also in the back of the minds of those 6 seniors that their high school careers are over if they don't win this game..

This one will be over early. Holmes will fly up and down the court, build up a big 1st half lead and cruise to the victory.

I was thinking the same thing. Tough matchup for the Tigers but being a Beechie I'll say that Pohlgeers hits a half court shot for the win!:ylsuper:

Holmes can name the score. Beechwood will go down hard but I think the defending state champions will be a little too much for the Tigers. Holmes had a "statement" game last year against the Tigers in the District finals, I expect to see a difference Bulldogs team now that we are in tournament play.

Beechwood seems to play well at Cov Cath's gym (probably because it historically is a good shooter's gym), but Holmes will get down to business. Close at half, Holmes pulls away by 16.

Will the gym be cleared after the Covcath game? If so, just trying to get an idea of what time I should get there to get in line to get in.

I doubt they will clear the gym. I plan to get there as early as possible, might have to sit through the first game to have a seat for the second.
