February 18, 201016 yr No kidding on the Rockets' trade. Wow. That is close to Gasol to the Lakers' as all time one way deals. Nothing beats the Gasol trade.

Apparently the 2011 pick is protected if the Knicks win the lottery and the 2012 pick is protected if they are in the top 5.

I didn't think you coukd trade two consecutive first round picks. I think the 2012 is in case they win the 2011 lottery.

February 19, 201016 yr Did they get under the tax line w/ that trade? That's what it was about I believe. They didn't want to get rid of Boozer because Sloan wanted to see what this team could do since they have been so hot lately. So instead of taking on more salary or getting expiring contracts for Boozer, they chose to move Brewer which probably gets them under the tax or close to it. At least that's what I think.:thumb:
