I assume the Wizards are looking to get an expiring contract and the only thing close to Jamison's salary is Big Z at 11.5 Mil. It would be worth it if they cannot come to terms with the Suns and Amare. Jamison is crafty, and I like that 15 million at the end of his contract. If he turns into a scrub that could be used in a trade in the future for a player, like they are using Big Z's contract now.

I know Cleveland may not be the preferred place to live, but most players live permanently in a city outside of where they play anyway, so I don't see why that would be a big deal. Like said he already has a house in Miami, but he plays for Phoenix. To me this says one thing. He must really not even care about trying to win a championship, and I absolutely hate it when professional athletes have this opinion. If he honestly cared about winning a championship he would be in the Phoenix front office right now begging them to work a deal to get him on the Cavs. The James gang has the best record in the league right now, and with Amare, Lebron would have that All-Star alongside him that he has been missing ever since he stepped foot in the league. It just doesn't make since to me, even if he may have bad blood with Shaq and wouldn't want to play with him again (I have no idea about this, just something I thought of, probably isn't even true), or whatever the reason is, it just doesn't make sense to me.

That's why I don't buy it. He'll go where the money is. The article said if Cleveland would max him out he would be fine. Gilbert would do that, and would probably prefer to do that IMO. If he gets traded to Cleveland they can pay him more than anyone else if he opts out of his contract, so we'll see. 10 games with LeBron and he would change his tune IMO. Amare's scoring would go up from playing with LeBron and his rebounds and blocks would go up in playing for Mike Brown. I can't stand MB but he does teach defense.

But, playing with LeBron is different. Amare has never played with anyone that draws defenders the way LeBron does. Amare would be in heaven, and wouldn't even have to do the pick and roll that he and Nash have perfected. And he would be playing in the East. There aren't too many teams that have a 4 that could guard him in the East. 3 years 60 million is nothing for Gilbert if they keep LeBron. LeBron is said to make 200 million a season by himself for the Cavs (by Cleveland's front office estimates) per season. So the combined 40 mil a year it would take for that duo isn't going to break Gilbert's bank and he has stated he doesn't care what it cost to build a winner. The Q is always sold out, and the Cavs are a money train right now. Outside of the Lakers I would say they probably make more than any other team I would imagine. No team would pay him more than the Cavs, if Amare proved to be a good fit with the team IMO.

I would have to look it up some of that stuff is so confusing. Oh yeah Big Z has a trade accelator of 1.5 Mil in his contract so the Cavs would have probably have to send a 3rd player in the deal to make it work. Looking more and more like this will be a 3 team deal if it gets done.

There is no one player in the NBA that means more to his team than Lebron James. He is the most team oriented guy in the league right now, and his skill set is unlike any player we have ever saw play the game. He has the most athletic body of any athlete in the world, and he knows how to use it. Look who Lebron is surrounded by, look what he has been surrounded by, and look what he has done. It is simply amazing. Look at all the other Cavs players numbers before they arrived to Cleveland to play with Lebron. Then compare them to their numbers now. Take all the Cav players right now and think what kind of numbers they would have if you took them away from the Cavs and put them on the Nets, Bucks, Knicks, where ever. Point blank, Lebron makes everyone around him better, and much better. He draws so much attention, but knows how to get his teammates involved when he does get that attention. Mo Williams would be no where near the player he is now without Lebron, and you can say that for the entire roster. I know you'll hate this, but look what Kobe done a couple of years ago before he was surrounded by fellow all-stars, nothing. Kobe needs star guys around him to win, and right now the Lakers are the most talented team in basketball. If you say that the Cavs have anywhere near the most talented team in the league right now (outside of Lebron) you are just fooling yourself, and not realizing how much better KING makes everyone. He truely is, but look who all else surrounds him and Amare in Phoenix. They have J Rich, Barbosa, G Hill, Channing Frye, etc. One could argue that top to bottom they are more talented than the Cavaliers. So with that said, look at the Suns, then look at the Cavs, who obviously have the best record in basketball. It's not coincidence, and there's a reason why Lebron was the only All-Star from Cleveland, and there is a reason why when Lebron got them to the Finals a few years ago he scored 30 of his teams last 32 to get them past Detroit in the Palace. Again, I know you are a Kobe guy, but Lebron James has done, and still does more with less than anyone in the league. If he got another star player opposite him in that lineup, they would be so lethal. There's a reason why the East team looked so good when Lebron, Wade, Bosh etc. was on the floor at the same time, and there is a reason why the Cavs own the best record.
